Para agradecer debemos estar conscientes de aquello que realmente nos genere esa satisfacción y sensación de dar las gracias; en mi caso, algunos momentos específicos me han hecho tener esos sentimientos, tanto en ratos de agrado con mi hermana o en situaciones donde solo yo y mi mejor amigo nos divertimos como nunca en semana de brindarnos unas risas; así mismo, dar las gracias por aún tener conmigo a las personas que considero importantes. Claro, esta es algo que después de todo forma parte de esa fortaleza que me permite estar en pie.
Pero si tuviera que dar gracias por algo el día de hoy, es por una nueva oportunidad que se me presenta y que dependerá de mí si llego a ella o no, y ¿por qué agradecer a esta oportunidad? Pues porque viene de una mezcla de sensaciones que han estado ocurriendo en mí últimamente y es como ese empujón faltante que ocupaba para dar ese paso. Verán, saben que aunque escriba mucho acá, soy bien pero bien tímida y suelo reprimir mis verdaderas emociones y sentimientos y cuando siento que pierdo algo o dejo ir algo con lo que luego paso por ese remordimiento, entro en conflicto, negándome a luchar de nuevo y viéndolo como una derrota obtenida.
Obviamente, me doy las gracias a mí misma cada día por mantenerme en mente ir mejorando y siempre analizarme para ver qué tanto siento que he mejorado con eso y con qué he podido avanzar de todo lo propuesto, pero hoy es el comienzo de varios pasos que debo ir realizando poco a poco para poder tener, digamos, algo que quiero recuperar. Verán, también soy algo terca, pero indecisa es difícil de explicar, pero algo importante para mí es que me gusta mucho cuando logro ser tan decidida con lo que quiero y en este caso es así.
Por lo que hoy, como un primer paso, estoy limpiándome un poco de cosas que tenía apegadas a mí o que no cambiaba por costumbre. Es como romper con lo de siempre y permitirme hacer algo que no me atrevía o simplemente no me atrevía a hacer, por lo que si lo que impulso a hacer todo eso es una razón de mucha fuerza que me hizo mucho más que entrar en razón. Y aunque algunas de esas cosas que he realizado o cambiado puedan verse simples o básicas, cambian por completo aquello que quiero eliminar de mí y me han hecho por hoy sentirme como esa versión que tanto me gusta de mí, cosa que agradezco mucho.
Por lo que sí, un buen día, y aunque admito que no soy de dar gracias, si más bien actuar, veo tan bien todo que simplemente pienso que es buena manera de hacerlo, ya saben, algo diferente, pero que estoy de acuerdo, por lo que si en estos días de aventura y pasos aún más decididos los puedo llevar con esta energía y ese motivo fuerte, algo me dice que serán excelentes para mí, cosa que me alegra aún más porque es parte de ese propósito que quiero llevar y hacer por y para mí, como me dijo alguien recientemente.
Así que, bueno, aunque no puedo revelar más de lo que dije, este es mi motivo para dar gracias hoy, siguiendo esta iniciativa propuesta por @syllem, esperando sea de su agrado. y muchas gracias por leer.

To be grateful, we must be aware of what truly generates that satisfaction and feeling of gratitude. In my case, certain specific moments have made me feel those feelings, whether in pleasant moments with my sister or in situations where just my best friend and I had the time of our lives, sharing a laugh. Likewise, I must be grateful for still having the people I consider important with me. Of course, this is something that, after all, is part of the strength that allows me to stand.
But if I had to be grateful for something today, it's for a new opportunity that has presented itself to me, and it will depend on me whether I get it or not. And why should I be grateful for this opportunity? Because it comes from a combination of feelings that have been occurring in me lately, and it's like that missing push I needed to take that step. You see, you know that even though I write a lot here, I'm quite, quite shy and tend to repress my true emotions and feelings. When I feel like I'm losing something or letting go of something, I then go through that remorse, and I become conflicted, refusing to fight again and seeing it as a defeat.
Obviously, I thank myself every day for keeping my mind on improving and always analyzing myself to see how much I feel I've improved and how I've been able to advance from everything I've set out to do. But today is the beginning of several steps I must take little by little to be able to have, let's say, something I want back. You see, I'm also somewhat stubborn, but indecisive is hard to explain, but something important to me is that I really like it when I manage to be so decisive about what I want, and in this case, that's true.
So today, as a first step, I'm clearing out some things that I had attached to me or that I didn't change out of habit. It's like breaking with the usual and allowing myself to do something I didn't dare to do, or simply didn't dare to do. So what drove me to do all of this is a very strong reason that did much more than just come to my senses. And although some of the things I've done or changed may seem simple or basic, they completely change what I want to eliminate from myself and have made me feel like the version of myself I love so much, for which I'm very grateful.
So yes, a good day, and although I admit I'm not one for giving thanks, but rather for taking action, everything looks so good that I simply think it's a good way to do it, you know, something different, but I agree. So if in these days of adventure and even more determined steps I can take them with this energy and that strong motivation, something tells me they will be excellent for me, which makes me even happier because it's part of that purpose I want to carry out and do for and by myself, as someone recently told me.
So, well, while I can't reveal more than what I said, this is my reason for giving thanks today, following this initiative proposed by @syllem, hoping you enjoy it. And thank you so much for reading.
