“Time, the greatest enemy of man”. What do you think? Is this saying completely right or wrong or to some extent? I will leave that for us to judge ourselves according to our performances this month. I invite everyone to engage in the prompt for today, the last day for the #julyinleo. Come and share with everyone how your month went through, from there I would get to know if time was your enemy or not, hehe. For me, let's get down to the details.
The month of July has been a great one for me indeed. I have recorded so many successes though I still had ups and downs moments. One of my greatest achievements this month is the purchase of a power bank. It's been over a year or two now since our community transformer was vandalized and the cost of repair has been unbearable for everyone. Because of the lack of power supply, my family only depends on a generator to power our gadgets. But the worst part of the use of a generator for power supply is that it only comes in the night and my fully charged phone dies during the day. This has been hindering me from being active on the blockchain.
I planned to buy a power bank that would help me keep all my gadgets alive in days of blackout. So to achieve my plan, I embarked on an intensive saving plan on Hive, every of the rewards I claimed were moved to savings until I was able to get to the selling price for the power bank. At least I got the capital from Hive and I'm investing it back to Hive, very nice.
Let me then talk about time management. Time has never been my enemy throughout this month because I'm a man of schedule. I don't start my day without setting my plan and I will always try my best to achieve the basic activities on the schedule.
When this month began, I was worried about how to manage blogging, school and personal life.
It seemed time would work against me and I would suffer failures in one of the areas. But guess what, it's not as I feared it would be. Exams started, two days ago and I can proudly say that I have written them very well, I never knew I would make time to blog, read, and live my personal life. It's one of my great achievements this month.
This growth may be funny or probably a crazy one, hehe. Choosing a new haircut and maintaining it is another growth I think I have made this month. For over ten years, I have been putting on “low cut” haircuts, though it's a simple haircut for cool guys, but it doesn't make me look as handsome as I look now, lol.
Guess what, those “sexy” girls who didn't often have time for me began to rush me. It took me days to finally realize that my haircut has made me a new person entirely and now, I'm running from those girls, hehe. It's a growth and big achievement indeed, lol.
About my growth on hive generally, I would say it's the biggest I've ever had. I have received many notifications from Hivebuzz updating me on my achievements on the Hive blockchain. Before my exams, I have always tried to make at least one post per day and at most two and I have also explored many communities and shared quality content there too.
This month, I also engaged in several contest initiatives by different communities and I can remember winning one of them. It's been an amazing month indeed.
I must say that I'm the best version of myself. I'm a pro in what I do, I'm not bragging, I'm just doing the right thing, #freecomplements for myself. It's one of the best things one can do, encouraging and complimenting oneself is the key to success especially when you have no one backing you up.
