Hello Hivians! Just wanted to do a quick post letting y'all know this account was created for the purpose of giving away temporary delegations. I run other Hive accounts my main is @cryptounicorn420 , @spoonies. and a few others.
Of course everything is subject to change but this is how I intend ton run this account.
This is a manual giveaway account run by a real human. I will use templates and scheduled posting but it will all be done by a human.
I created this account to be able to help folks get started with curation or increase their curation power by doing monthly giveaways of temporary delegations of certain tokens.
I am going to start off small but as this account grows, so will the delegations. Eventually I do plan to do HP delegations but that is down the line a bit as this account builds up power. this will also be decided by the community in an upcoming vote. If you want HP delegations added earlier than planned, watch out for the giveaway post/poll.
How it will work
Every month I will do several delegation giveaway posts. These will be a random drawing. People will need to leave a comment on these posts to enter the giveaway. The winner will win a token delegation for approximately 30 days. Pay attention though, not just any comment will do. Most giveaways will have a phrase or phrases people will need to use to be eligible to win.
The phrase(es) will mostly have to do with people acknowledging they understand that these are (for the most part) delegation giveaways and folks need to pledge to curate in the tribe/token if they win. This is so that these resources do not get wasted by people winning and not curating.
One of the main reasons for this account is to encourage engagement and curation. There is no point in winning a delegation if you aren't going to curate.
Don't worry this phrase will be super obvious and in the description of the giveaways.
The format:
The first two weeks of the month will be the giveaway announcement posts.Users will be able to enter the giveaways and the deadline to enter will be written in each post, but it's pretty much going to be on or before the 14th of every month. Each token will get it's own post/deadline to enter etc.
People can enter more than one delegation giveaway but only one delegation per account can be won in a given month. This is to keep things fair and distribute the delegations to as many people as possible.
On or around the 15th of the month the winners will be chosen and the delegations will begin. I will do a mid -late month post announcing the winners.
At the beginning of the following month the cycle will continue. New giveaway posts will be made and new winners selected on or around the 15th of the month. At this time the previous delegations will be revoked and the cycle starts again.
I will keep enough tokens to be able to un-delegate and delegate to the next round before receiving the delegation back to the account- this way there is no gap in between. I will also keep a little bit of some token power on hand at all times for curation.
I may do a couple of regular token giveaways between rounds, but basically this will be the pattern.
Please keep in mind that I cannot guarantee I will do these giveaways every month. These are all done manually and I have multiple chronic illnesses so there may be times where I simply cannot run the giveaways. If that happens the delegations will continue past 30 days until I am well enough to start the cycle again.
The delegations will be small at first but will increase over time as this account grows. In fact every month the delegation amounts should go up
This account will keep some tokens on hand for upvoting .Though this account will mainly follow the @freecompliments community curation trail, manual curation will also be done as time/energy allows.

and a third tbd. Most likely it will be either Hive Power or NEOXAG. This will be put up to vote in the next post on this account so stay tuned.
If the community chooses HP as delegations those delegations will not start until June as I am still experimenting to see what the minimum HP needed to receive curation rewards at or around 90% VP. I want to make sure the HP delegation is enough to make it worth it assuming a person brand new to Hive wins the delegation and has very little or no previous HP. I don't have a final number yet and it will take a few more weeks of observation/data to figure that out. I think its somewhere between 50 and 100 HP . More info on this will be in upcoming posts.
Just to clarify the delegations are calculated based on people not having any previous token power. However, whether you are brand new to Hive or have been here since the start- everyone that enters and follows instructions will be eligible to win.
I plan to adjust this and maybe add new coins some months and switch things up a bit. Right now 3 tokens is my energy limit. I don't think I could do more than 3 delegation giveaways in a month, but we will see. There may be months where I can only do one (or none). There may be months where I do 4. It will all depend on many factors I cannot control.
