AI platforms are offering the development of the apps using the web wrappers. Bolt, lovable, a0 and variety of the platforms which allow such features with the cap on the credits. So such type of the platforms eventually get expensive.
How? Because usually the one shot prompt works but they often lead to the errors. And fixing errors lead to burning of tokens. That's the most common issue with the Bolt. It's always a good idea for you to choose your own wrapper if you can and do local development.
So the tools like cursor, continue, roo-code and even windsurf can be a good option.
I recently found out about Dyad. This is a desktop based app which allows development of apps using the build wrapper of the LLM of your choice.
As of now Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic and Openrouter is supported as of now. I know Mistral > Codestral is still missing API.
I recently tested out with the Gemini API and it is a good wrapper for the build options as of now. You may want to check it out as of now.

I wish they add the codestral of the Mistral API, this is the only way you can have complete free API and get to do most of the small projects with each. I think they have decent limits with the API and I kind of starting to like the service.
For now, try out the Dyad.sh and see if it gets your simple projects done. This would help you for getting projects off the ground.
