Everyone has dreams which they desire to achieve in life. Some may be small and others big or a combination of both. Some too may have dreams that are out of this world, lol. Yeah we have people like that and they are the only ones that have the exact understanding of their dream and how to achieve it.
Also the period of achieving these dreams differ from person to person. For some theirs flows so naturally easy and fast, while some can last months, few years or even decades before they come to light. There are still some that may not be fulfilled before the dreamer passes away. Such is the life that we live and if you are lucky to have yours fulfilled thank your creator.
I Dream To Have Dreem Space.
Just like Martin Luther King Jr once said
I have a dream that one day that one day .....
I too have a dream that one day I will have an expanse of land that screams of nature, lol, don't worry I will explain.
I desire to acquire a considerable portion of land where I can have my dreem space, a home in a cool environment with natural vibes - beautifully landscaped with different types of flowers, trees especially the ones that produce fruits lol, I love fruits a lot.
I want to be able to wake up in the morning to see birds on my window chirping away. And then while having a morning walk with my dog, I will enjoy the cool breeze of nature, the sweet scent emanating from the flowers, the silent whispers from the trees as a result of the breeze, the squirrels jumping from one tree to the other and not forgetting the butterflies hopping from one flower to the other while cross pollinating.
A space where I can share fun times with my family without having to go out.
This home will have a garden or farm where I will be able to grow some of the foods for my family consumption - vegetables, yam, potatoes, plantain, and fruit veggies etc. Right from my childhood, I knew the importance and benefits of growing one's own food and that is what propelled this dream. If the yield from my farm is much I may consider selling them to make some money. This is exactly what my mom did to help support the family while I was growing up.
Some other things that will be found in this space are a snail farm, fish farm and a poultry just for family consumption. I wouldn't want to go into large scale because it is not part of the the dream plan, but if my partner says otherwise, then we will have to go ahead with it but he will be the one to handle it.
Making The Dream Become A Dreem
Currently, I do not have the resources to bring this dream of acquiring a land to build my dreem space but it is a work in progress - Before I already joined Hive I already had a savings plans but now my Hive is now part of it.
Although I know that with each passing day, the cost of land appreciates but I believe that when it is time for me to buy I will get one fit for me.
While I save and await the time when I will be able to buy the land to have a garden, there's a small portion in my compound that I am managing now. I do cultivate crops like maize, yam, vegetables - spinach, scent leaf, waterleaf, tomatoes, okra, there are pawpaw tree there too. You can say that I am already experimenting my dreem space features, lol.
That is not all, at my apartment frontage, I used polythene bags to plant turmeric including budding of pear fruit which have grown. I've been wondering what to do with the pear because it has reached the stage of transplanting.
Oh how I wish I already own a land now
Now the final one, I have a small collection of snails or you can say a minute snail farm, lol 😂. I picked them all from my garden and decided not to eat them. So I used a vehicle tire to make a habitat for them and usually feed them with leaves usually in the evenings.
Doing all these things serve as a constant reminder of my dreem space. Will it be achieved in year 2024, I can't say for now. Time shall tell.
