It's just amazing that we have a day mapped out for us to showcase our various talents and culinary skills so today I will be sharing how I made smoothie so that I can satisfy my cravings.
We all know that once one starts having cravings for a particular thing, either food, drink, snack or any edible stuffs, it will continue until you satisfy it and that was exactly the case with I and this smoothie. In order to allow peace reign, I had to prepare the smoothie with the available ingredients.
Smoothie Ingredients
The basic ingredients for making smoothie are variety of fruits depending on your taste buds, something creamy and liquid.
So in making my own smoothie I used
Pawpaw
Watermelon
Greek yogurt
Banana
Fried Groundnut
Apple
Water or Ice cubes.
Making the smoothie
I washed the fruits that needed washing with clean water and then proceeded to cut them into small sizes.
Cutting done, blending followed next so all the fruits including the groundnut went in to be blended until smooth and paste like.
Satisfied with the smooth texture, I then added the yogurt and a little water or ice cubes if you have, then allowed to blend again until all ingredients were well mixed. Adding the ice cubes means you won't add water to it again.
Blending done, I poured the mixture into a cup and kept it in the refrigerator to cool.

Again for those who use frozen fruits, there wouldn't be need to put the smoothie in a refrigerator again before drinking except for the leftover.
Some do add any sweetener of choice to theirs especially those with sweet tooth 😂 but I don't, so it's okay if you feel like doing so.
Although smoothie is best enjoyed cold or even chilled but my long throat couldn't allow it to be cold enough before I started drinking it, moreover I don't really trust the looks of this puppy image on my cup 😂.
Smoothie is not only delicious but highly nutritious due to various ingredients used in making it, moreover making it doesn't really cost much.
