This is the story of Waylon.
On the brightly lit streets of New York, a Colombian boy with a killer flow was making his way through the crowd. The famous Waylon, better known in the freestyle world as El Wayo, with his powerful double tempo and structures, was able to achieve victories where no one thought possible.
Young Wayo was born in Medellín, Colombia, but due to work issues, his father got a job in the United States, and his entire family had to move and start a new life.
School was very difficult for him as he adapted slowly, but with the Latin influence, he was doing better. Little by little, he became interested in rap, although freestyle was always his thing. As a young man, he loved watching rap battles and Colombian freestyle competitions.
As a teenager, he began competing in the famous "plazas," places where several MCs would gather to rap and compete for no money; they basically did it for fame. Until at a certain point, he began to truly prepare, and it was a bit difficult for him since he combined Spanish and English words, which left his competitors dismayed.
Eventually, he was able to participate in the famous Freestyle Master Series in the United States between competitions. He had started as a guest participant, but after the huge public acceptance, the directors of FMS decided to give him a small contract, which meant a lot to Wayo.
From then on, his career began to accelerate by leaps and bounds. He managed to compete in the Red Bull International and be one of the members of the North American Tri Nation to compete against the European continent.
Wayo was happy with everything he achieved, but he never stopped being the young man who wanted to be happy. With the arrival of money, everything became a little more difficult and easier at the same time. Easy in the sense that he helped his entire family financially, difficult because of the vices that surrounded him and that took away many of his friends.
Nowadays, Wayo has decided to venture into freestyle organizations to attract more talent and promote this culture. He occasionally goes to the arenas to continue participating or to give small shows.

Esta es la historia de Waylon.
En las luminosas calles de Nueva York,un chico colombiano con un terrible flow se abria paso entre todos. El famoso Waylon, que en el mundo del Freestyle se lo conoce mejor como El Wayo, con su potente doble tempo y estructuras capaz de hacerse con victorias donde nadie lo ve posible.
El joven Wayo nacio en Medellin, Colombia pero por cuestionas laborales, su padre consiguio un trabajo en Estados Unidos y toda su familia tuvo que mudarse e iniciar una nueva vida.
En la escuela era muy dificil para el ya que se adaptaba de a poco, pero con la confluencia latina lo iba haciendo mejor, de a poco se fue interesando en el rap aunque lo suyo siempre fue el freestyle. Le encantaba ver de joven batallas de gallos y competencias libres de freestyle colombiano.
En su adolescencia comenzo a competir en las famosas "plazas", lugares donde varios "MC" se reunian a rapear y competir por nada de dinero, basicamente lo hacian por fama. Hasta que en determinado momento comenzo a prepararse en verdad y le era un poco dificil ya que el combinada palabras en español e ingles, lo cual dejaba consternados a sus competidores.
Llegado el caso, pudo entre competencias, participar en la famosa Freestyle Master Series de Estados Unidos, habia comenzado como participante invitado, pero luego de la gran aceptacion por parte del publico los directores de FMS decidieron darle un pequeño contrato, para Wayo era muchisimo.
A partir de alli la carrera comenzaba a acelerar a pasos agigantados, logro competir en la Red Bull Internacional y ser una de las piezas que formaron el Tri Nation de norteamerica para competir contra el continente europeo.
Wayo estaba contento con todo lo que lograba pero nunca dejo de ser el pequeño joven que queria ser feliz, con la venida del dinero todo se hizo un poco mas dificil y facil a la vez. Facil en el sentido que ayudaba economicamente a toda su familia, dificil por los vicios que lo rodeaban y que le quitaron muchos amigos.
Hoy en dia, Wayo decidio incursionar en las organizaciones de freestyle para convocar mayores talentos y dar a conocer esta cultura, de vez encuando baja a las plazas para seguir participando o dar pequeños espectaculos.
