Hello, everyone
Welcome to the #JulyInleo prompt
I want to share a humorous text I read on Facebook with you people. It was humorous and I had a lot of intelligent questions and answers that transpired between the mother and her second daughter.
It was an intelligent, humorous conversation and I learned a lot from the response of the mother. The mother responded intelligently and smartly. It was so funny and this text made my day.
It was about two female kids who stopped carrying their lunch box to school on Fridays, when the mother asked them, why, they told the mother it wasn't necessary since they were dismissed at noon. The mother agreed with them.
So one day the mother was resting on the couch, and the second daughter came to her and started a conversation.
The second daughter asked the mum. Mummy, Please change the food you used to pack in our lunch box, that I don't like it. The mum replied, what happened to the food?
The daughter said, Mom, nothing is wrong with the food, but it's just that the food is looking like village food.
The conversation continued as the mom asked her second daughter, what was wrong with the village food. Don't you like the way the food looks like? The daughter said, "I'm the only one who brought village food to the class and anytime I brought out my lunch box and opened it, all my classmates would laugh at me".
Then, the mother started rubbing her mind on what to say at this point to her daughter. The mother came up with a nice idea of asking the daughter, who took the first position in your class? The daughter replied, 'me'.
The mother asked again, last academic session in your class, who took the first position, the daughter said, "Me".
The mother asked again, in the next academic session, who will take the first position again? The daughter said, "me".
The mother asked, how sure are you that you will take the first position? The daughter answered, Mum I'm very sure because I'm the only one who used to answer questions in the class and others don't used to answer.
The mother asked, why don't your classmates answer questions? You have the same teacher, books, and the same heads. Why do you answer all the questions?
This question held her daughter bound for some minutes before she said, well, I don't what their problem is. They used to read their books and I used to play 🤣🤣 yet they couldn't the answer. 🤣. This is hilarious.
The mother said, let me tell you the reason they are dull in answering questions in the class. They eat too much English food while you eat too much native food. Wow. Their English food which consists of fries and junks adds fat to their skin, causing them to be plump without adding nutrients to their brains. The native food doesn't add only fat but adds nutrients to your brain, that's why you are always brilliant in answering questions in class.
The daughter nodded in agreement with what the mum told her. She said, wow! now I know, the secret of my intelligence.
The first daughter, who listened to the conversation, burst into laughter and asked the mom, are you serious? The mother said, yes, your brain is well nourished with good foods.
The both of them kept quiet for some minutes, looking at each other in agreement with what the mom told them.
The mother encouraged them to bring out their lunch box with boldness. If they laugh at you, laugh louder. Tell them that the English food is making them not to be smart in class.
So at the end of the conversation, her children agreed with her perfect plans. The mother went inside her room and applauded herself for her intelligent responses towards her children. Eh! Sense won't kill this woman. She tried to put the questions to a perfect conclusion.
This piece I read from Facebook, inspired me to be a smart mother who will take responsibility all around not just in taking care of my children but also in helping them when questions arise and the need for qualitative answers.
It was humorous with impactful lessons.
