The most profound lesson I have learned in my early 20s is the truth about destiny. It's of course based on what exactly you believe in but I think that destiny is not exactly found or handed, it's built. There are people that get successful in their future by chance but chance is not a principle for you to rely on.
To ensure that the future you imagine in your mind becomes a reality, you need to see things a bit differently. Instead of looking for the future you want, build it yourself.
It is a person's sole responsibility to ensure greatness and just like how a house is built brick by brick, purposefully, intentionally and strategically, that's exactly how your future needs to be built.
There are kinds of materials you don't want to use for the house because you understand how strong the house needs to be. Based on the height of a a building, they dig the right foundation. Some friends shouldn't be in your life just like how some materials shouldn't be in your house. You choose the right bricks so choose th right people, the right habits the right routine.
Routine is what builds things so that part is super important.
Nobody will make you rich, you will need to do that for yourself. Being born from a wealthy home truly is a privilege but not that many will have that kind of privilege and that's not something to lament over, rather use the same time and energy to make any effort not matter how little it may seem to build that Future.
It won't be easy and if you get help from friends and loved ones along the way, you can be thankful but help is not something you should put your mind to.
The reason you shouldn't rely on support is that you can't control what anyone would do, you can only control you. If you seek help and you're denied think of another way, there's almost always another way.
