BIBLE TEXT:

*And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean (Matthew 8:2)

INTRODUCTION

Approach masters a lot in anything we do or say. To know how to approach the Almighty Jehovah is very! very! important.
We have come to seek help from God. God will help you if your approach is normal and cordial.

The leper came to Jesus Christ, kneeling down, begging for healing. He came to Jesus Christ by Himself, not through mediators. Stop visiting Prayer Ministries, rather go to God by yourself.

PRAY FOR ME !

This generation doesn't love God. It is a generation that wants to get help and provisions from God, but they are very away from God. Never
you be over familiar with God. They need people who will pray for them. They will rather beg for prayers instead of praying to God by themselves.

HOW TO APPROACH GOD

The leper knelt down, begging for help. How do you approach God? Humility is the most important action before God. He is in heaven while we are here on earth. Faith is the second action needed in approaching God. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith, it is impossible to please, reason is that anyone who comes to God, must first believe in his or heart that there is God who answers prayer and rewards those who seek Him. Holiness is the number three. Such a person must exhibit some level of holiness because God is holy.

PRAYER POSTURES

1. KNEELING DOWN
2. PROSTATED BEFORE GOD
3. STANDING UP
4. SITTING DOWN
5. WALKING AROUND
   However, there is no hard rule on the postures. The postures don't matter much like the disposition of the heart. God always mind the heart which is the means of our communication. When the communication systems is not in accordance with God's standard, forget the prayers because God will not be involved.

IF YOU WILL, YOU CAN MAKE CLEAN

That was the conclusive statement of the leper. Jesus Christ responded and said, "I will, be clean".
Jesus Christ laid His hands on the leper and said, "I will, be clean".
Immediately, the leprosy left the man. He was cleansed from all impurities. He was like a little born baby in his skin. The question remains, 'How do you approach God?" As God or as Dog?

It is not long prayers that masters. Rather the sincerity of your prayers and faith.

Jesus Christ said unto him, never tell anyone about the miracle yet, but go and present yourself to the priest for confirmation of your purification.

He went out and began to publish the incidence in the city of Decapolis. This made crowd to come out to meet Jesus Christ the next time He visited that vicinity again.

CONCLUSION

Mind your heart disposition as you approach God Almighty.
