Hey there, Splinterlands players! How’s it going?
After a few hectic weeks in the real world, I’m finally back with something exciting to talk about. Hive has climbed back up to $0.254 USD, and that’s definitely great news for all of us—especially if you're holding onto other Splinterlands assets like SPS or DEC. But it's not just the prices that got me hyped—there’s a brand-new event I’ve been itching to share: Conclave Arcana Conflict, or simply CA Conflict.
If you’ve participated in Rebellion Conflict before, the concept is pretty similar, but this time it feels a lot fresher and more strategic. You’re asked to stake cards and packs into Battle Wagons for 30 days to earn points. At the end of the event, those points will determine how many airdrop cards you get. And we’re not talking about just any card—we’re talking about ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE, a legendary dragon with 2 magic & 5 melee attack, 10 mana cost, and 5 deadly abilities, including Incendiary and Bloodlust. Intimidating? Yes. Awesome? Absolutely.
I jumped into the event using two Wagon Wars I had left from the previous event. I filled them up with my card collection and 2 packs, giving me a contribution score of 714 points per hour. Not the highest, I know, but by the time the event ends, I should earn around 4 airdrop entries. Not bad for a start, right?
Still, I have to admit—I’m a bit nervous. The system is much stricter now—800 entries are needed to guarantee 1 card, compared to just 200 in the Rebellion event. That means staking strategy matters more than ever.
🎯 Strategy & Key Lessons
If you're thinking of joining, here’s my advice: use CA cards or Black Foil cards, since they give higher point values. CA cards count their full collection power, while Rebellion cards only count for half. And if you’ve got a CA Legendary Pack—stake it! Each one gives 600 points, so imagine having 10 of those.
Personally, I’m now considering buying more CA Alchemy packs to boost my points without having to craft new wagons. But if you’ve got the resources, wagon crafting is also a solid move. Just make sure you have enough: 40,000 Wood, 10,000 Stone, 4,000 Iron, and 2,500 Aura.
A lot of newer players are starting to understand the importance of staking and how the airdrop system works. If you're just getting into the game, this is a great time to learn about resource management and card value. More importantly, you’ll start to see why a balanced collection is key—not just for battles, but also for opportunities like this event.
✨ Why This Event Matters
Because this isn’t just any event. It’s an opportunity—a chance to learn strategic thinking, and to potentially earn a special card like ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE, which could be a total game-changer. With abilities like Flying, Incendiary, Charge, Execute, and Bloodlust, this dragon can truly turn the tide of battle and pull off epic comebacks.
If you want to join, there’s still time. The first stage of the event, called "A Song of Fire and Ice", is ongoing for a few more days. Who knows? Even a small contribution might be the beginning of your legendary card collection.
See you on the battlefield, Splintermates! Don’t forget to load up your Wagons, plan your best strategy, and meet me at the end of the Conflict with your own victory story! I’ll need your good vibes too—hoping that at least one of my 4 entries lands me a ZYRX. And may you get one too—you deserve it! 💪
