This will be a short update because I am still in a crash and barely have the energy to type. This is pretty "normal" for me after acute infection/illness. I usually crash for weeks/months after. This is no exception.
As for Rapamycin did not get the nausea this time. I think it has to do with the time between meals. I had breakfast later than usual and had lunch a few hours later and had no nausea.
A pattern I am noticing is the positive effect it has on my muscles (anti inflammatory I am guessing)wears off around day 5. By day 6 it's completely gone and I am back to baseline.
I am considering asking for an increase in dosage. Maybe I could take it twice a week instead of once. Or perhaps the medication will have a cumulative effect and will last longer the longer I take it. I am on a very low dose so increasing may be an option. Something to think about in the future.
I am switching form oxaloacetate to DCA. Hopefully it works as well.It will be hard to tell for a while as I am in a crash but we'll see. I ran out of OA for a few days and this may be why I am crashing kinda hard this time-or at least contributing to it.
Even though I am basically incapacitated this crash is less severe. I am in less pain and my muscles feel better and less aches /stiffness in joints (the stiffness-overall pain is still present).Bells functionality at 0-10 though.Pain scale a 6 .
At least I have enough energy to eat. It is not uncommon for me in severe crashes to not be able to eat for days sometimes longer because I can't sit upright at all and chewing takes up too much energy (Yes this has been mentioned multiple times to multiple doctors. Best case they don't care, worse case they accuse me of anorexia nervosa-which I do not have). My TMJD also gets worse. The less energy I have the worse it is. Sometimes my jaw dysfunction is a warning sign of a crash about to happen.
My body is fucking weird, man.
