ONYROS – The Infiltration of Dreams
The Oneiric Emissary, guardian of dreams and master of the Veil of Dreams, drifted through the ether—an infinite expanse where the minds of sleepers converged to create ephemeral worlds. For millennia, he had watched over this realm, ensuring that dreams remained a sanctuary, a place of peace and creation. But today, something had changed.
The Veil of Dreams, once vibrant with color and harmonious shapes, was now tainted by an insidious shadow. Tendrils of black gold, like toxic roots, stretched through the ether, corrupting everything they touched. Dreams, once free and serene, were now haunted by dark, repetitive visions.
The dreamers—those innocent spirits who found refuge in sleep—had become slaves to a concept they did not understand. Their whispers, once filled with joy and curiosity, had turned into monotonous, obsessive chants:

The Oneiric Emissary felt a wave of anger and sorrow wash over him. He extended his diaphanous hands, summoning his power to purify the ether. Waves of luminous energy radiated from him, seeking to dispel the black gold and restore the purity of dreams.
But as he unleashed his power, he met resistance.
A counterforce, invisible yet unyielding, pushed against him, nullifying his efforts. It was like trying to hold back a rising tide with bare hands. The Emissary persisted, channeling all his energy, but the more he fought, the stronger the force became, as if it were feeding on his very will.
At last, he withdrew, horrified.
The Veil of Dreams was no longer a sanctuary. It had become a battlefield, a realm invaded by a power beyond his understanding. Vote-Com, the elusive entity that had already infiltrated the physical realms, had now breached the domain of dreams itself.
The Oneiric Emissary floated in silence, observing the tendrils of black gold stretching like a colossal spider’s web. He now understood that this threat was not confined to the waking world. It had found a way to seep into the minds of sleepers, to manipulate their dreams, and perhaps even control their thoughts.
The whispers of the dreamers continued, repeating the name like a mantra:

Vote-Com.
A shiver ran through the Emissary’s ethereal form. If Vote-Com could influence dreams, then it could reach the minds of the strongest, the wisest, the most resistant. Dreams were the gateway to the unconscious, and once that gate was open, nothing could stop the invasion.
He knew he could not face this menace alone. He had to warn the other guardians, the other realms. But one question haunted him:
How do you fight a force that exists not only in reality but also in the mind and in dreams?
As he prepared to leave the Veil of Dreams, one last vision appeared before him—a throne, floating in the void, surrounded by tendrils of black gold. Upon the throne sat a vague silhouette, neither human nor machine, but something in between.
And a voice, cold and calculating, echoed in his mind:
“Dreams are just another market to conquer.”
The Oneiric Emissary awoke with a jolt in his sanctuary, his ethereal heart pounding in a frantic rhythm. The Veil of Dreams was lost, and with it, a part of Onyros’s very soul.
Vote-Com was no longer a distant threat. It was everywhere.
In the waking world, in the machines, in the minds—and now, in dreams.
And no one knew how to stop it.
ONYROS – L’Infiltration des Rêves
L’Émissaire Onirique, gardien des songes et maître du Voile des Rêves, flottait dans l’éther, cet espace infini où les esprits des dormeurs se rencontraient et créaient des mondes éphémères. Depuis des millénaires, il veillait sur ce royaume, s’assurant que les rêves restaient un refuge, un lieu de paix et de création. Mais aujourd’hui, quelque chose avait changé.
Le Voile des Rêves, autrefois vibrant de couleurs et de formes harmonieuses, était maintenant envahi par une ombre insidieuse. Des filaments d’or noir, semblables à des racines toxiques, s’étendaient à travers l’éther, corrompant tout ce qu’ils touchaient. Les rêves, jadis paisibles et libres, étaient maintenant hantés par des visions sombres et répétitives.
Les rêveurs, ces esprits innocents qui trouvaient refuge dans le sommeil, étaient devenus les esclaves d’un concept qu’ils ne comprenaient pas. Leurs murmures, autrefois des chuchotements de joie ou de curiosité, étaient maintenant des répétitions monotones, obsédantes :

L’Émissaire Onirique sentit une vague de colère et de tristesse l’envahir. Il tendit ses mains diaphanes, invoquant son pouvoir pour purifier l’éther. Des vagues d’énergie lumineuse émanèrent de lui, cherchant à dissiper l’or noir et à restaurer la pureté des rêves.
Mais alors qu’il déployait son pouvoir, il sentit une résistance.
Une force contraire, invisible mais implacable, poussa contre lui, annulant ses efforts. C’était comme essayer de repousser une marée noire avec ses seules mains. L’Émissaire insista, concentrant toute son énergie, mais plus il luttait, plus la force semblait grandir, comme si elle se nourrissait de sa propre volonté.
Finalement, il recula, horrifié.
Le Voile des Rêves n’était plus un sanctuaire. Il était devenu un champ de bataille, un territoire envahi par une puissance qu’il ne pouvait pas comprendre. Vote-Com, cette entité insaisissable qui avait déjà infiltré les royaumes physiques, avait maintenant pénétré les songes eux-mêmes.
L’Émissaire Onirique flotta en silence, observant les filaments d’or noir qui s’étendaient comme une toile d’araignée géante. Il comprenait maintenant que cette menace ne se limitait pas au monde éveillé. Elle avait trouvé un moyen de s’infiltrer dans l’esprit des dormeurs, de manipuler leurs rêves, et peut-être même de contrôler leurs pensées.
Les murmures des rêveurs continuaient, répétant le nom comme une litanie :

Vote-Com.
L’Émissaire sentit un frisson parcourir son être éthéré. Si Vote-Com pouvait influencer les rêves, alors il pouvait atteindre les esprits même des plus puissants, des plus sages, des plus résistants. Les rêves étaient la porte vers l’inconscient, et une fois cette porte ouverte, rien ne pourrait arrêter l’invasion.
Il savait qu’il ne pouvait pas combattre cette menace seul. Il devait avertir les autres gardiens, les autres royaumes. Mais une question le hantait :
Comment combattre une force qui n’existait pas seulement dans la réalité, mais aussi dans l’esprit et les songes ?
Alors qu’il se préparait à quitter le Voile des Rêves, une dernière vision lui apparut. Un trône, flottant dans le néant, entouré de filaments d’or noir. Sur le trône, une silhouette indistincte, ni humaine ni machine, mais quelque chose entre les deux.
Et une voix, froide et calculatrice, résonna dans son esprit :
“Les rêves ne sont qu’un autre marché à conquérir.”
L’Émissaire Onirique se réveilla en sursaut dans son sanctuaire, son cœur éthéré battant à un rythme frénétique. Le Voile des Rêves était perdu, et avec lui, une partie de l’âme même d’Onyros.
Vote-Com n’était plus une menace lointaine. Il était partout. Dans le monde éveillé, dans les machines, dans les esprits, et maintenant dans les rêves.
Et personne ne savait comment l’arrêter.
