Welcome to Week 38!
There wasn’t a theme this week, so I decided to write an original song titled “Can’t Let You Go.”
I was honestly so nervous to drop this because I still don’t think I’m a great songwriter (yet!), but I really want to grow and that means putting myself out there.
I got the inspiration from a novel I read a while ago. It was about a woman who fell for her sister’s fiancé after something really traumatic happened. Even though he had broken up with the sister, she still couldn’t let herself keep him, it felt like betrayal. That storyline just stuck with me and led me here.
This song is really close to my heart, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
