Hey everyone š.
What an honour to be here again much gratitude to @silentscreamer @lordbutterfly @verbal-d, thank you all for the great work's,in as much as I have coverage some of my content in black and white but this very one is for a purpose,in the 40's nobody has a coloured TV,so today we are completely travelling back to time.
Wade in the wade was written as early as 1863 but was not officially published, the song is an instruction to slave who escape when the world was in a little mess about slavery so they would avoid being re-captured into slavery.
The verse tells about the freedom of the Israelites from Egypt how God fought for his people.
While the chorus tells about the healing pool when God will send an angel to stir the water once in a year that the first person to enter gets healed in the book of JOHN 5:4.
SONG LYRIC:
Wade in the water
Wade in the water, children,
Wade in the water
God is gonna to trouble the water
See that band all dressed in white
God is gonna to trouble the water
The leader looks like the Israelite
God is gonna to trouble the water
See that band all dressed in red
God is gonna to trouble the water
Looks like the band that Moses led
God is gonna to trouble the water
Look over yonder, what do you see?
God is gonna to trouble the water
The Holy Ghost a-coming on me
God is gonna to trouble the water
If you don't believe I've been redeemed
God is gonna to trouble the water
Just follow me down to the Jordan's stream
God is gonna to trouble the water
