It's amazing to see a lot of talents being showcased on the hive Blockchain. I acknowledge the consistent effort of the team behind this. Today I came across the post of @the-lead published in response to the vibes web3 music Competition. He is a guitarist, and a good one I believe from the way he handled the tune of his presentation from the start to the end. He had played the tune "You're the reason by Ochimdi Ochei"
The Song is an old song that's still making waves till date. A few other artists like Sinach, Calum Scott and many others had sung the song, probably because the song comes with an essence, the conviction that one knows the reason for his existence. It recaptures one's trust for his maker and puts him in a mood of worship.
@the-lead, didn't sing the song verbally, instead he played the instrumentals. I'll rate his performance 8/10 and that's a pass. While wearing glasses as he sang, I couldn't picture if his emotions were attached to the tune he played, but he was able to maintain the tune from the start till end. The sound came out clearly using his lead guitar- I believe his name "lead" is a description of the guitar he plays. The background matches a music atmosphere.
While I listened to him play, I sang along with the tune. I didn't need anyone to tell me the song he was playing, and that is a sign of a good guitarist. It is a song I am familiar with, but over the years, churches rarely sing it, maybe because new songs surface every month. It was good to remember an old song that once blessed life and is still blessing life, especially when all we need to do is to be grateful for who we are and what we have.
