Hey there people, it's my first music review in the community, and I've been hoping to highlight all the perfect entries that caught my attention. But I guess I can only limit them to a few, else I'd be writing a ten-thousand-word review—which, of course, no one would read. @kenzzi hyped up this community, told me about the weekly singing and entries, and I thought: why not give it a try? Well, I've listened to a couple from this week and the recently concluded week as well, and I decided to write a brief review on the entries that brought life to the show.
1) @moses08
He sang a cover of Summertime and nailed it. I love that he let the music pass through him. His voice is really amazing, to be honest. No stress, no show-off, he was just relaxed—hitting and drifting through different notes beautifully. I applaud him for this. He's a talented artist indeed.
Hope for the Living is an amazing entry where the artist puts his theatrical arts on display. The body language, demonstration, rap, eye contact, and connection with the audience—beautiful, I must say. I love the encouraging words. I mean, we don't know who this piece might elevate—you never can tell. Rap isn't as easy as it seems because you must be in connection with the audience.
The boldness has to be way up there. It's not a soul song where you can shut your eyes and still impress people with an enchanting voice. At least, he's the first rap artist I've seen so far, and if I'm to be honest, he nailed it!!
We had a lot more, but I guess I'll highlight the top 2 for me—else I'd end up writing that 10,000-word review I told you about earlier. See you all soon, peace✌️
