Hello guys, how is everyone doing today? Am glad to participate in this week's competition. But in this week am doing written song called "home burn". This song reminds me of my childhood days, when I remember my auntie's home and property burned down by fire during those days.
I can't imagine what she really went through. I felt her pains.
This song is just a reflection of all that happed then. So i will be glad to see one our good artist do this song.
HOME BURN
The embers glow where the walls once stood,
Timber dreams and childhood wood.
Flames took the roof, the hearth, the door,
Left ashes where we lived before.
[Chorus]
Home burn, oh, home burn down,
Sparks fly up to the sky’s cold crown.
What’s lost in the fire, we’ll carry in heart,
Home burn, but we’ll never part.
[Verse 2]
The photographs curled in the heat’s cruel hand,
Our laughter still echoes on this scorched land.
The table’s gone where we broke our bread,
But memory holds what the flames have fed.
[Chorus]
Home burn, oh, home burn down,
Sparks fly up to the sky’s cold crown.
What’s lost in the fire, we’ll carry in heart,
Home burn, but we’ll never part.
[Bridge]
Through the smoke, I see your face,
Roots run deep in this sacred place.
We’ll build again with stone and song,
The fire’s fierce, but our love is strong.
[Verse 3]
The morning comes with a quiet grace,
New light falls on this empty space.
From ash and ruin, we’ll rise, we’ll mend,
A home’s not walls—it’s where hearts don’t end.
[Chorus]
Home burn, oh, home burn down,
Sparks fly up to the sky’s cold crown.
What’s lost in the fire, we’ll carry in heart,
Home burn, but we’ll never part.
I believe you will love the song friends, Thanks!
