Asslamoalekum and hello to my #vibes community. Welcome to another review post. Today I am going to talk about an amazing entry by a talented Pakistani singer @arshadkhan4421. Yesterday I heard his melodious song. It was a wonderful Pakistani cover song originally sung by a famous and legendary Pakistani singer Attaullah Khan Isa Khelvi. First time @arshadkhan4421 performed a song with a harmonium. I always asked him to perform with a guitar or harmonium. So at last he sang a song accompanied by a harmonium. Believe me, I am amazed by his skill in playing harmonium. Harmonium is a difficult musical instrument but he did a wonderful job.
The good thing about this entry was the selection of songs. I always emphasized selecting a high-pitch song because you know performing the high-pitch song is always a test case for a singer.
The lyrics of the song are also very interesting and heart-touching.
Here is the translation of the lyrics :
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom
I would return as soon as that season arrives
Now, my love, the season of red roses is here
Don't let the monsoon pass while waiting for me
In such a season how can I ever forget you?
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives
These warm, intoxicating breezes whisper sweet lullabies
My love, may the distance between us not separate us
May the bond of our love not break, even if I am far away
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom
I would return as soon as that season arrives
My love, memories of you linger when I recall
those loving words
Those days spent by the Indus River, that rainy nights,
Without you, how can I sing melodious songs
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives
It was a soul touching entry. I enjoyed a lot and I am pretty much hooeful that he will be nominated in top 10 list. He should win this competition.
