Here we are, at the end of the 14th week of Vibes. 😎
Each of the musicians deserve to win the main award. Unfortunately only 6 had to be chosen in the end.
...but, as we like to remind folks.
With Vibes everyone is a Winner!
Our Vibes supporters and curators have distributed more than $5000 USD worth of upvotes for this week plus the cash reward. As the value of Hive rises so do everyone's payouts.
We are on the path of reaching our "silent" goal of $500 000 USD of value created by Vibes inside a year.
As the value of Hive grows this becomes a reality.
Our hope is to bring you all many more weeks of this as we intend to make Vibes the biggest web3 music competition on the internet!
This week the community was able to choose the winners alongside the judges. 1/3 of the vote came from the community itself.
SOME NUMBERS:
- our collab with Sam Feldt generated quite a bit of attention on Twitter. More than 600 people tuned in with many new influential people in the space taking note of Vibes.
We managed to even get some copy cats. :), that are taking the idea of Vibes and doing it on other chains. Thats great to hear both from recognition perspective (highest form of flattery :) )
and from the fact that others are realizing there is value in supporting musicians.

We are seeing difficulty with onboarding voters easily. This was brought up in a few of my DMs. Offchain accounts seem to be a clear necessity.
Get them here the easiest way we can and over time they will potentially stay.
- The poll post just on Peakd (the posts we promote on social media are from Ecency but Ecency doesnt have a view counter) consistently are the TOP viewed posts on Hive. All Vibes polls are the top voted polls on Hive so this can be indicative of visible reach elsewhere as well. Polls are a call to action and generate far more engagement than most other posts. A lesson to be had there.
The judges votes differed slightly.
