I grew up in a family of bohemians, especially on my dad's side. At our family gatherings, there was always someone with a guitar and someone else dropping the vocals, and I would just soak in those tunes, especially the soft chords of the bolero. So today, I want to take you on a musical journey with a gem by Mexican composer and singer Armando Manzanero: "Contigo Aprendí" (With You I Learned).
This song has a special place in my heart, not only because of its charming lyrics, but also because it was one of the first songs I learned to play, adding those characteristic bolero chords. I feel they give it a unique depth. I still have a few things to polish up, but I'm working on it! I hope you enjoy my version as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Crecí en una familia de bohemios, especialmente por parte de mi papá. En nuestras reuniones familiares, siempre había alguien con una guitarra y otro soltando la voz, y yo simplemente me sumergía en esas melodías, especialmente en los acordes suaves del bolero. Así que hoy, quiero llevarlos en un viaje musical con una joya del compositor y cantante mexicano Armando Manzanero: "Contigo Aprendí".
Esta canción tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón, no solo por su letra encantadora, sino porque fue una de las primeras que aprendí a tocar, añadiéndole esos acordes característicos del bolero. Siento que le dan una profundidad única. Todavía tengo algunas cosas por pulir, ¡pero estoy en ello! Espero que disfruten mi versión tanto como yo disfruté haciéndola.
