A couple of days ago I was in a college class, in which I was given an assignment, about making a poem in the form of a tenth with a specific formula. The tenth is a simple way of writing poetry, it consists of ten lines of eight syllables each, of course, in the case of this song, I had to put four more syllables so that the song will be well structured, but in itself, the lyrics are a tenth poem.
The song talks about meditation, but meditation in what? There are several branches of yoga, some focus on breathing and positions to connect with your inner self or with the divine in nature. Other yogas focus on meditation on the Lord (God) through devotional service, however, there are times when one sits, chants a mantra (the Hare Krishna mantra) and tries to visualize the mantra or God. The song talks about just that, about appreciation of the Lord through meditation, and how that can raise our level of consciousness and free us from material bondage.

Hace un par de días estuve en una clase de la universidad, en la cual me mandaron una tarea, sobre hacer un poema en forma de décima con una formula en específico. La décima es una forma de escribir poesía sencilla, consiste en diez versos de ocho silabas cada uno, claro, en el caso de esta canción, tuve que ponerle cuatro silabas más para que quedará bien estructurada la canción, pero en si, la letra es un poema de décima.
La canción habla sobre la meditación, pero, ¿Meditacion en qué? Hay varias ramas del yoga, algunos se enfocan en la respiración y las posiciones para conectarse con tu yo interno o con lo divino en la naturaleza. Otros yogas se enfocan en la meditación sobre el señor (Dios) a través del servicio devocional, sin embargo, hay momentos en los que uno se sienta, canta un mantra (el mantra Hare Krishna) y trata de visualizar el mantra o a Dios. La canción habla precisamente de eso, de la apreciación hacia el señor a través de la meditación, y como eso puede elevar nuestro nivel de conciencia y liberarnos de las ataduras materiales.
