Hello, music lovers.
It's Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 32, and as we have no theme this week, I present to you my rendition of Natalie Grant's "You Deserve."
This song reminds me of the year I began my musical journey. I performed it on stage back in the university during a social week in the school's Catholic Chaplaincy. It was my second time on stage, so I had no stage fright, lol. It was a nice experience exploring that part of me again with more confidence.
I also performed it a second time on the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the year 2012, still in the university.
This wasn't the song I initially wanted to present, my voice didn't click well into the first song I intended to do, so switching to "You Deserve" was easy for me.
"You Deserve" is an acknowledgement that God deserves everything in its entirety. He is worthy of all praise, honour, glory, adoration, worship and more, but what He wants most and desires from us is our love. We can't claim to love God if we can't love our neighbours and remember, "charity begins at home".
We need to extend our love and care to those around us, and it doesn't necessarily have to be financially, but our words, time, empathy, and little acts of kindness in the little ways we can go a long way in the lives of others.

When we fail to do the things that please God, He still opens His arms to receive us, even when we feel we are not worthy of His love. He is our father, and His love for us can't be measured.
I love the song "You Deserve". It's from Natalie Grant's album, "Love Revolution", and I've had the album for years.
Well, I felt the song deep in my heart while I sang it, and I hope this piece of mine blesses you.
