Hi everyone, welcome to another edition of my Clash Royale gameplay. In this gameplay, I used the Royal Giant Lightning Executioner deck (there is a lot of variation of this deck sometimes Lightning and Executioner are replaced with different cards). You will notice in this gameplay that I switched some cards in favor of another. But the main component is still there which are the Royal Giant, Executioner, and Lightning.
Royal Giant/Executioner/Lightning Deck
- Royal Giant (main winning condition card)
- Lightning (support card)
- Executioner (support card)
- Elite Barbarians (alternate winning condition card, support card)
- Zap (spell card)
- Barbarians (support card)
- Log (spell card)
- Electro Wizard (support card)
How to Use this Deck
This deck is heavy on elixir, do not over deploy or rush your attacks especially on the single elixir round unless you have the advantage. Since this is a heavy elixir deck you will find it to be slow at single elixir time.
Some players only deploy the Royal Giant at double elixir time.
This deck has no building card, you can replace Barbarians or Elite Barbarians with a building card.
Always make sure that the Executioner is deployed behind so that the card in front of it will act as a tank.
You can always use Royal Giant as a tank provided that you ran out of options to defend.
This deck has three direct damage card which is Zap, Lightning, and The Log, you can always replace it with another card.
Electro Wizard, Zap, and Lightning has a stunning effect, use them to force your opponent's card and building to change their targets.
This deck's main weakness is against fast cards such as the Hog Rider, Wall Breakers, Ram Rider, and Bandit. But I can always deal with them using both the Barbarians and Elite Barbarians.
Use Lightning to support Royal Giant against a building card.
Also, you can always use Lightning to eliminate two or more defenses to support your Royal Giant push.
Against Golem Beatdown Deck
Using this deck I always have a positive percentage of winning against a Golem beatdown deck by making sure that the Executioner is deployed behind any defense that you deploy. If you know that your opponent doesn't have a Fireball or the Fireball is out of the cycle you can use Barbarians to take on the Golem, if not use Elite Barbarians.
I sometimes rush on the other side with Elite Barbarians once I saw that the Golem is deployed (this is a risky move, do it with caution).
Against Mega Knight Beatdown Deck
I always use Barbarians to take on the Mega Knight once it crosses the firing range of the princess towers. If the Mega Knight doesn't have support the Barbarians will take him out. You must surround the Mega Knight with the Barbarians.
If you don't have the Barbarians or Elite Barbarians, you can always deploy Royal Giant at the river (another side) so that it will kite the Mega Knight.
You can also use Executioner by deploying it at the center, let the Mega Knight jump into the Executioner so that both princess towers can hit him.
If you don't have Barbarians, Elite Barbarians, and Executioner you can use any available card on your deck to kite the Mega Knight.
Against Pekka Bridge Spam Deck
Remember the "1 HP" win by SurgicalGoblin last 2019 against Morten? Well, that moment spawned one of the most dreaded deck ever seen.
Against this deck, I always use the Barbarians or Elite Barbarians to take on the Pekka. Do not Deploy the Barbarians away from the Pekka, you must surround him, or else they will be wiped out easily especially if the Pekka has support behind him. If possible you can support Barbarians with Electro Wizard or Executioner.
You can always use Royal Giant to kite the Pekka. If possible you can support Royal Giant with Executioner. Do not use Electro Wizard to support the Royal Giant or else he will switch to Electro Wizard instead of continuing to follow Royal Giant.
If Royal Giant, Barbarians, and Elite Barbarians are not available you can always use Executioner in combination with Electro Wizard to take on the Pekka.
Always make sure to have any card available card for defense against this deck, since this is a bridge spam deck your opponent will always rush the attack. Always watch out for unsupported attacks coming from Battle Ram, Royal Ghost, and Bandit.
Do not waste any elixir against this deck, or else you will not be able to recover against an experienced player that is using this deck.
Against Log Bait Deck
Log bait sometimes has Hog Rider in the mix. Usually, a log bait deck uses Princess, Goblin Barrel, Goblins, Dart Goblin, and Skeleton.
You can always use The Log and Zap to take on the Goblin Barrel. Use The Log against the Princess. Use Barbarians or Elite Barbarians to defend against Hog Rider.
Do not over-commit or rush against this deck. If you fell one deck less against this deck in single elixir time, don't worry, when double elixir time comes, the high HP of your cards will outlast this deck combined with Zap, Log, Electro Wizard, and Executioner.
