XDefiant, a CoD-like shooter

XDefiant is Ubisoft's new bet to integrate a new multiplayer shooter to the market after the release of games like Apex Legends and Rainbow Six: Extraction.
What this beta presents us with are battles between two rival sides that must solve objectives, which can be:
- Escort: the attackers must escort the best Overwatch style to the delivery point while the defenders try to slow down the charge.
- Zone Control: each side must attack or defend the acquired zones.
- Domination: there are three zones that have to be captured to have a majority of points and win.
- Occupy: Sides must take a control point which varies in location throughout the game.
Ranked games and practice are not available at the moment.
The particularity of this shooter comes hand in hand with the Factions, which are attributes that give characters from other games in the Ubisoft franchise, which in this case are from TC: The Division, TC: Ghost Recon Phantoms, Far Cry 6, TC: Splinter Cell, and Watch Dogs 2, although the latter is blocked at first.
Each of these characters will have an Ulti that can be used by pressing the Q key.
We could divide these Factions into roles as they can be more aggressive or more passive, where for example, the role of the Far Cry 6 Faction called "Libertad" could be called Support or Healer as it has heals, while others like the "Phantoms" of TC: Ghost Recon Phantom tend to be more passive even with the use of shields.
Lastly, this game has two things that other games already have: a Battle Pass and Call of Duty style Equipment.
The pass is the same as in all games that have one: they are only appearance changes, where we find things like death banners, weapon skins and other issues that are generic in this type of games.
As for the customization of weapons through the equipment is very similar to that of CoD, where weapons are chosen between Assault Rifle, SMG, Shotgun, LMG, Marksman and Sniper with their respective accessories, the secondary gun also with their respective accessories and a grenade of our choice.
My opinion about XDefiant:
It seems to me a fun game but that does not go beyond what we know. The few maps that I could try if I liked, had some imbalance with the heights and the mobility of the character seemed to me quite successful unlike some games are half-locked, as I felt in Warface. But, for example, the game modes are recycled from some games that are already played for several years, weapons and customization is exactly the same for me. The factions, although they bring new things, are still more of the same, I don't see anything innovative that makes me want to play it often and transmit me something particular.

XDefiant es la nueva apuesta de Ubisoft para integrar un nuevo shooter multijugador al mercado luego de la salida de juegos como Apex Legends y Rainbow Six: Extraction.
Lo que nos presenta esta beta son batallas entre dos bandos rivales que deben resolver objetivos, los cuales pueden ser:
- Escolta: los atacantes deben escoltar al mejor estilo Overwatch hasta el punto de entrega mientras los defensores tratan de frenar la carga.
- Control de Zonas: cada bando debe atacar o defender las zonas adquiridas.
- Dominación: hay tres zonas que tienen que ser capturadas para tener mayoría de puntos y ganar.
- Ocupación: Los bandos deben tomar un punto de control el cual varia de ubicación a lo largo de la partida.
Por el momento las partidas competitivas y las partidas de practica no están disponibles.
La particularidad de este shooter viene de la mano con las Facciones, las cuales son atributos que dan personajes de otros juegos de la franquicia de Ubisoft, que en este caso son de TC: The Division, TC: Ghost Recon Phantoms, Far Cry 6, TC: Splinter Cell, y Watch Dogs 2, aunque este ultimo esta bloqueado en un principio.
Cada uno de estos personajes contara con una Ulti que se utilizara apretando la Q.
Podríamos dividir estas Facciones en roles ya que se puede ser mas agresivo o mas pasivo, en donde por ejemplo, el rol de la Facción de Far Cry 6 llamada "Libertad" podría denominarse Support o Healer ya que tiene curas, mientras que otra como los "Fantasmas" de TC: Ghost Recon Phantom suelen ser más pasivos aún con el uso de escudos.
Por ultimo, este juego cuenta con dos cosas que ya tienen otros juegos: un Pase de Batalla y el Equipamiento al estilo Call of Duty.
El pase es lo mismo que en todos los juegos que tengan uno: son solamente cambios de apariencia, en donde nos encontramos cosas como banners de muerte, skin de armas y demás cuestiones que son genéricas en este tipo de juegos.
En cuanto a la customización de las armas mediante el Equipamiento es muy similar al de los CoD, donde se eligen armas entre Fusil de Asalto, Subfusil, Escopeta, Ametralladora, Tirador y Francotirador con sus respectivos accesorios, la pistola secundaria también con sus respectivos accesorios y una granada que elijamos.
Mi opinión acerca de XDefiant:
Me parece un juego divertido pero que no va más allá de lo que conocemos. Los pocos mapas que pude probar si me gustaron, tenían algún desequilibrio con las alturas y la movilidad del personaje me pareció bastante acertada a diferencia de algunos juegos son medios trabados, como lo sentía en Warface. Pero, por ejemplo, los modos de juegos son reciclados de algunos juegos que ya son jugados hace varios años, las armas y la customización me pasa exactamente lo mismo. Las facciones si bien traen cosas nuevas sigue siendo más de lo mismo también, no le veo algo innovador que me haga querer jugarlo seguido y me transmita algo particular.
