This is the Joker in Batman’s psyche who has the following fears: afraid of being alone, forgotten. The Joker is then displaced from Bruce’s mind.
This is Scarecrow’s fear. He is so much afraid of the bat even though he had captured the bat, in his own mind he saw bats flying around the room with Batman full of hatred coming towards him. Hellish sort of environment was made up in his mind because of the fear toxin.
