Hello hivers, hope all of you are doing good.
This gameplay was originally from the part before the Malenia Boss Fight, the part where I effortlessly beat a boss without actually confronting it. The best part about it was that I had been using the magic before changing it to Arcane mode.
I got on the game and spawned in Elphael. The route to Elphael was an exhausting one. The useless battle with the normal enemies that gave me barely 1.2k runes.
As I had mentioned, I was using the magic build so sniping enemies with the magic bow I got from the tree sentinel back in Caria’s Manor was a great help. I took out the militia underneath one by one and finished off the pesky one with my Longsword.
The moment I start my magic bow the Erdtree also activates it’s sniper arrows of golden light. Previously, I had died to the Erdtree by mistake as I dared to face one of it’s golden arrows and see how much damage would it make. So right after I collected it I Carrie don my assault on the Erdtree.
I attacked once and it was triggered. It made 3 consecutive attacks of launching it’s golden light towards me making me stay put behind this cover for some time. This way I reduced it’s life by half, of course it did take time I was receiving no damage at all. Behind me were 2 enemies who were facing the other way… I didn’t dare trigger them as well as my sword was no a good one compared to the one I had in my strength build(golden halberd).
Then the Erdtree re spawned back to it’s original position and didn’t move at all in the hopes of getting me exposed and for it to hurl it’s arrows at me. I stayed behind the wall and saw that the arrows weren’t coming towards me, not at all. In fact, they were going in the opposite direction and not even hitting the wall in front of me. This looked cool.
Slowly but surely, the erdtree’s health went down until it hit rock bottom and he hit the floor. I got only 35k rune from the Erd boss. I then thought wether it was because of the way I took him out. Otherwise I had gotten 50-90k runes from an Erd boss. Regardless I finished the fight and pressed forward in the hopes of farming and continue forward.
