Greetings hive gamers, hope all of you are doing good today.
Gaia reached the mount of Olympus with Kratos on her back. He landed before his father and declares his intentions to him. He taunted his father with the rescuing done Athena the previous time when Kratos threw his blades to kill Zeus. That made him more angry and so Zeus underwent a fighting state and the clouds started to rumble.
Soon he had a lightning bolt, meanwhile Gaia threw her hand towards the King of Gods and was about to grasp him. Zeus threw the bolt and both Kratos and Gaia fell off Mount Olympus. They held on below but Kratos fell all the way down to the realm of Hades.
During his fall, he reflected his choices, his life events. This was where his convictions were hardened and his thirst for revenge strengthened.
He fell into the river of souls as the creatures in it were sucking out the life from him. I thought that it was because of me moving slowly and not in the right way but no it was a part of the game.
As he went ashore, he declared that the gates of Hades never held them. Athena visits the angry Spartan in her astral form. She said that she was turned into a superior being after she was killed from his blades. Kratos said that the blades were meant for Zeus and not her.
He asks for her to be quick with her info deliverance. She said that Zeus would not fall as easily as Ares, he was the king of all Gods. Hence, too measure up to such power he had to find Zeus’s power source: The flame of Olympus. Kratos asked her why she had a change of heart as before she saved the guy and now she wanted to kill him. She told how she saw the truth that she did not see before. She moves through him and takes his blade. She upgrades it into Blades Of Exile.
Before going away she told the Spartan the message above.
The first gorgon eye for me. This was a pure accident where I stumbled upon it. Then I saw that using these I would refill my stat bars like how it was during the skirmish in the mount Olympus.
Met the King Of Hell but not in person. He asked if Kratos had missed him lol. Well I did XD.
After Hades’s skeleton army was done with Kratos has to cross the iron zip-line. I hated this moment. This was where I truly felt exposed. The enemies came from both sides with no place toe space to.
My first gorgon. I honestly thought that this was Medusa as this was a greek mythology game. But nope, this was just an ordinary gorgon that also had the power to turn the people into rock solid statues.
Eventually met this guy trapped in the other side of some overgrown weed of hell. Previously I received a letter from the guy that said hell was not a place for Persephone and that Perithous would rejoin her from the company of Hades. This was the place where I was stuck for some time too, couldn’t figure out how to advance.
The first fight with the mini Cerberus. I said mini as the gods were huge in side hence their pets should too right? Also, it’s attack was too basic, just a dash and paw scratch.
The guys wanted to be free, Kratos made sure he got the most on his end of the bargain. To be eternally free… the head of the Cerberus were severed right after freeing the guy. I received the Bow of Apollo from him, pretty handy
The 3 Judges of the Great chain: King Aeagus , King Rhadamanthus, and King Minos.
Of course, before the trial I had to undergo the test of the Kings for the things their found me worthy in. The Minotaur were no biggie but the bats were annoying as hell.
Found the third of eye of the Gorgon and so my health stat increased it’s maximum point. Just a bit though, a lot more upgrade is needed.
First judge found Kratos wanting(don’t know what that means), the second king found his worthy(worthy of killing the gods…), and third king opened the gateway for Kratos and also told that the afterlife was not ready for Kratos yet.
He crossed the portal. When I was crossing the place I saw that each of the judge’s back of the head had a bluish onyx sort of material filled in. I did try to strike it but to no avail.
Kratos first thought that it was his daughter Calliope when she called him father. She said she wasn’t her but she knew of him, of his arrival. Hades joined the chat. Kratos asked if it was one of his tricks and asked him to show himself. Hades said that they would meet in due time.
I upgraded the bow of Apollo before the blade, a mistake on my end but the bow was a great addition to my arsenal.
I came across a huge grill and started the fire. Only there was no meat to fry. The fumes were so strong that it helped Kratos glide upwards to the 2nd level of the place. I read a letter beforehand where a person had cursed the ghost of Sparta, didn’t know who it was… later I found that it was Kratos XD.
2 skeletons spawned and I pulled to mid air before finished them off. This was also a place where I was confused on what to do next.
The hidden location for the Phoenix feather. Too many hands made me go in disgust.
The pit of Tartarus was an unpleasant sight for the damned though albeit it looked great on my end.
Even the statues were attacking Kratos, as if the whole of the realm was after the God Of War himself.
Met 1 guy who wasn’t hostile towards the god of war. Surprising but a relief that I didn’t have to kill him as well. Hephaestus referred to Kratos as the ghost of Sparta, this was when I knew that Kratos was it… Hephaestus assumed that Kratos would be dead by then, Kratos assumed back that Hephaestus would escape for the cabin by then. The smile from Hephaestus’s face was gone when Kratos asked for the Flame fo Olympus. He said that everyone knew about the flame and respected it too. Neither man nor god can touch it. Kratos asked for it’s location. Hephaestus with a cheeky reply said that if Kratos could get out of the Underworld he could find his way to the Flame too.
Upgraded the Blades of Exile to level 2.
