Hello guys hope all of you are doing good.
I loaded the game from the place from where I had left off. I left the cabin of Hephaestus and went over to the moving dome.
Click here to find out what had happened the last time and where I was.
The Surprise
As I cranked it I finally got the attack I had anticipated before, it moved and hurled it’s long hammer toward me. I parried it at the nick of time. It took some time to get them as I had the blades of exile that were not too effective against such statues.
Getting them to low health proved to be a little easier than I had expected but boy did the God mode made the encounter difficult!
This statue however did not move at all. I was dumbfounded to see that one of them did not come to life… as if it was afraid of the new/fallen God Of War?
Exiting the pit of the Underworld. It was quite a view here! The constructions by the mountain looked stunning as well. I was a bit low on magic points and health. Found some crates amid the way.
Then I met the goddess of war in the astral form. She came once again to remind the god of war his goal: killing Zeus. Once again Kratos said that he would do it and passed through the Hyperion gate and to the City of Olympus.
As soon as he entered the place he heard the god of the sun, Helios roar to his horses to carry on forward. He didn’t notice the god of war beneath though. He was focused on another enemy as it had appeared.
On a closer inspection, the city looked absolutely stunning apart from the fact that it was slowly falling apart.
A little ahead and I found the Titan that had lead the charge against Olympus way back, Gaia. She seemed the help of Kratos. She was surprised to see that he still lived, she thanked the blood of Cronos and asked him from help. Kratos was in no mood for getting into helping business. So when Gaia asked for his help he decided to take her off the battle permanently. By severing her hand that had held onto the place Gaia fell down to the underworld where no master was there to greet her.
He watched her as she fell underneath the damned place.
Then Kratos was tasked to prove himself against the great warriors of Sparta. Their skeletons anyhow were beaten one by one and the gate opened.
I got 128 hits here. They were so conjugated that it was possible to achieve this feat.
Further down the way I saw a great gap with a feathered bat chowing on some carcass of a guy. I got hold of one and started to use to it cross the place, I did try to cross it without using the bats but was unsuccessful.
Meeting Perseus, The Walking Volcano
Right after entering the gate I saw the guy along with a Helios still hurling his fireball. The poor Titan could only block the attack and flail his hand in the hopes of catching the God of Sun.
Of course the place was stormed with more enemies from the gate to the left. Another Centaur general. This was when I remembered that I had to use my sticks instead of the button to dodge his deadly attack and use it against him. I didn’t get the centaur the first time I had met in the tomb of Ares as my health was great. Got the guy somehow here with
Moving forward some civilians came running out of an area. I killed some just as a way of testing it it would give me any experience points but none were delivered… I then saw that a crossbow was placed in the end he of the place. I went to use it and just then a Chimera appeared from behind me and attacked. The first thing I cut was the annoying gorgon attached on it’s tail. It went berserk and started to lash out. I stabbed it’s hip/kidney area. The third sequence granted the Chimera movement speed with the addition of glowing eyes.
Shooting Helios Out Of The Sky
After I beat the thing I finally used the crossbow and hit the chariot of Helios. Perseus grabbed the chariot and smothered it between his palm and Helios went flying to the top of the building, most likely injured.
I went back to the place where I had killed the centaur. The feathered birds appeared once again meaning I had to cross the huge space once again.
