The first part of the post is where I discuss my current game stats and choice of character and playstyle. The mid-part of the post has my opinions about the pre-game lobby. And, at the end of the post is the gameplay.
Another victory, after a tremendous amount of losses and failed attempts to use the characters.
After about 4 hours of total gameplay I can finally say that I’ve improved about 0.5%🙂.
My weapon accuracy is 25%, this was in the match after the one I have uploaded here. Bad vibes all together. Since, there is no aim assist and I haven't been able to access the weapon scope sensitive I believe that I'll always be dead last, among my friends that is.
But throughout all of this, I can confidently say that I am great at using Moira, a support character.
She is a total support character though, she has the ability to use healing and poison thanks to her hands. The detail about the hands is spot on too, the healing hand is nice and plump(in an acceptable way) while the poison hand is almost rotten, the bones on her fingers can be seen from outline of her hand.
The poison hand almost reminded me of the witch from snow white, how she sacrifices her beauty and turns into an old hag, how she handed that poison apple over with her boney fingers.
The Pre-lobby Fights
It's amazing how the game gives you the chance to get to know an environment that you won't even play in... unlike the other games where they spawn you in a totally separate place or the map that you would fight in.
It's also where we get to choose the unlocked characters only to get 1 shotted by some sweat using Cassidy or Hanzo, unless of course you took a Tank(character). The guys in my squad never fail to headshot me, especially in the mid range.
And lastly, the game has an unusual way of pulling players out when a match has been found. Multiple time, me and my friends were engaged in all v all and suddenly poof you are back in the menus, probably selecting modes or heroes. And then we go, "Wth man, that was a close situation, I almost killed you. What a terrible way to go... ahh, this is so unfair".
In the gameplay below, they spawned us in Hollywood. The area where I'm pretty sure that I got 2 kills in all the times I've been here in pre-lobby mode.
The Match
The game was in Busan, yeah, for me and many others this name brings in the tragic movie called "Train To Busan". Little girl, protected by her dad in a zombie outbreak, boarding a train headed to Busan, and ultimately her dad gets bitten and starts to turn into a zombie himself. So, he decides to jump from the train to protect her daughter. Sees the moment when his daughter was born, with her mother alive. Touching, heart breaking too...
Moving on.
This time, I went with the balances Damage dealer, Soldier 76. Has running ability, can heal himself, and throws a net.
Similar to games I played in the past, I know exactly how to use this character.
But, the problem lies in my aiming... you can see that my beams were all over the place. I barely got out of sticky situations either because of the support from the guys or my luck.
The game was a close one too. There were a total of 3 rounds. We dominated the first moment of the first round, captured up to 65% until they turned up the heat. I do admit that it was partly my fault, I went to flank them and found myself flanked by two of the enemies.
We captured the second and the third bases. You can see that the enemies were dominating the captured position, they had captured 99% of it. But, thanks to overtime and some really determined players, we pushed them back and recaptured the place.
This time we stuck together, held the position and supported the Tank push.
All the way to 100%. Yeah, bagged in a kill in the final moments…
Scoreboard after Round 2. Had 13 kills, 4k damage, and 25% weapon accuracy🥲.
The 3rd Round began. We captured the place and got a landslide victory.
Definitely one of the best turn around my team and I have pulled in the game till now.
Also, by the end of the game, I had 19 kills with 5.6k damage! The random guy in our squad, Deejay, got 42 kills with Reaper... if he is a console player is have to contact him, don't know how controller players play and keep up with pc players. The MVP was Deejay, no surprise there.
All the other guys are my friends, Hound, Leadge, and Dihan. They did good on their part, especially hound, the Tank. His play and strategy seems to work in most scenarios.
Enjoy the gameplay!
