It Was You.. is an intricate, multi-player, NFT storytelling game where players follow clues to solve the mystery of who is trying to destroy all life as we know it. Sometimes it's a Fiery Demon, sometimes it's a Maniacal Alien, and sometimes, it's you..
Characters have come through time and space to join together to stop these interplanetary magical monsters. Each player has basic starting stats of their chosen NFT Character, and they are based on four main spiritual paths - LOVE, SEER, DUTY, and LONER. Each Character starts with a unique area of four LOCATIONS, usually one being a Hospital, Bus Stop, or Airport, that are usable by all other players. As the hidden Villain gets closer to arriving, players must solve clues using their wits and skills to fight mighty MONSTER NFTs, to collect PUZZLE PIECE NFTs, and to find new WEAPONS, SPELLS, DEFENSE, MAGIC/ITEM NFTs.
My name is Kevin Fleenor and I am the creator and designer of this all-genre-encompassing, new genre of NFT game. Figuring out the statistics of the game, number of cards, if the attack and defense systems works, puzzle pieces and money ratios, were all figured out when I made It Was You.. into a board game.
The problem that I had, and you will totally understand, is that no one has the time to play board games, let alone own a board game with a zillion pieces and a cost of over $500 for the Starter Set! It's fun to roll a bunch of dice and then move a Character's likeness across a beautifully designed game board, but realistically, we don't have the time or money to physically play the game.
The solution? Let's make the It Was You.. board game into an NFT powerhouse on the HIVE blockchain. Simple, right? Yes, it is. The Characters, Puzzles, Story Cards, Action Cards, and hundreds of Monsters and Weapons are already designed. The game has been tested over and over again, and it works!
If you enjoy programming, and you want an incredible gift handed to you, you know where to find me. Of course, it would be even better if you were in Hollywood, CA, so we could put 3 tables together and set up the real It Was You.. board game!
