Hello everyone!!!

I hope you are well or are trying to be well. I'm okay. I'm a little tired today and I'm a little depressed about some things, but I'll be fine. I have to be. Today I want to talk to you a little bit about a game that Pravesh and I played. Split Fiction, which has the same producers as It Takes Two, which we played before but I didn't have the opportunity to share with you.

I can say that I have some mixed thoughts about this game. Of course, I will touch on these in a moment. I just want to mention at the very beginning that we haven't finished this game yet, but I think we will finish it soon. Maybe then I will have other ideas.

By the way, there will definitely be spoilers here. I'm not feeling well enough to pay attention to it right now, and I'll write whatever comes to mind...

It is a fact that I found myself in the play from the beginning because as someone who used to write stories/novels, I was able to put myself in their shoes. I was able to connect with Mio a little more because we realised in the first scene that there were characters that fit our personalities exactly.

I think one of the reasons I associated myself with Mio was that our writing styles and imagination were similar. Then we realised that our personalities were similar. The same with Zoe and Pravesh.

This game, which has very simple dynamics, was very valuable for me. After the tutorial was over, the action started and I have to say that they have achieved the same balance in Split Fiction as they did in It Takes Two. By this balance I mean action and rest time.

There is only one thing I don't understand. Although they have created character stories that are very extreme for those who love two different genres, I think they have broken that magic with both of them being women. Personally, I think that games have been softened too much in recent years, and unfortunately this game is no exception.

Zoe is a very masculine, quiet, calm, rebellious woman with a personality with hard boundaries. There was no need for this. Mio is the opposite. Talkative, friendly, etc. We have seen similar features in the previous game, but it didn't seem so artificial and forced. Here, it's as if the story was taken from a young girl's diary. It just added some game dynamics to it.

I'd better stop judging the characters and look at some of the game's well thought out details. It's not as easy to find mini-games and side-scenes as the other game, but it's quite fun. At one point we found ourselves in the form of pigs, and we made a few racist and religious jokes about it and had a lot of fun.

When we solved the puzzles and came to the end of that story, we ended up being hot dogs. The puzzles were a bit more difficult in this section than in other parts because I think it was difficult to adapt to the change of characters and abilities at once.

Honestly, after the photos I showed you, my favourite scene in the game so far comes and that's why I'm ending my thoughts about the game here. I think you have understood that I have mixed thoughts about the game. As I mentioned above, maybe my opinion will change as I continue the game.

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Ben iyi sayılırım. Bugün biraz yoruldum ve bazı şeylere moralim bozuk ama iyi olacağım. Olmam gerekiyor. Bugün sizlerle biraz Pravesh ile oynadığımız bir oyundan bahsetmek istiyorum. Daha önce oynadığımız ama sizlerle paylaşma fırsatı bulamadığım It Takes Two ile aynı yapımcılara sahip olan Split Fiction.

Bu oyun konusunda biraz karışık düşüncelerim var diyebilirim. Bunlara birazdan değineceğim elbette. Sadece daha en başında belirtmek isterim ki biz bu oyunu daha bitiremedik ama yakında bitiririz diye düşünüyorum. Belki o zaman daha başka fikirlere sahip olurum.

Bu arada burada kesinlikle spoiler olacak. Şu anda buna dikkat edecek kadar kendimi iyi hissetmiyorum ve aklıma ne gelirse yazacağım...

Oyunun başlangıcından itibaren kendimi bir anda içinde bulduğum bir gerçek çünkü eskiden hikâye/roman yazmaya çalışmış biri olarak kendimi onların yerine koyabildim. Ben biraz daha Mio ile daha çok bağ kurabildim çünkü ilk sahnede anladık ki bizim kişiliklerimize tam da uygun olan karakterler vardı.

Kendimi Mio ile bağdaştırmamın sebeplerinden biri de onun yazım tarzlarımızın ve hayal dünyamınızın benzemesiydi sanırım. Sonrasında ise fark ettik ki kişiliklerimiz de benziyormuş. Aynı şekilde Zoe ve Pravesh'in de.

Oldukça basit dinamiklere sahip olan bu oyun benim için oldukça değerli oldu. Tutorial bittikten sonra aksiyon başladı ve söylemeliyim ki It Takes Two'da nasıl bu güzel dengeyi yakalamışlarsa Split Fiction'da da yakalamışlar. Bu dengeden bahsettiğim aksiyon ve dinlenme zamanı.

Sadece anlamadığım tek bir şey var. İki farkl genre'yı sevenler için çok uç noktalarda olan karakter hikâyeleri yaratsalar da ikisinin de kadın olması ile birlikte sanırım o büyüyü bozmuşlar. Şahsen oyunların son yıllarda çok fazla yumuşatıldığını düşünen taraftayım ve bu oyunda da ne yazık ki aynı durum söz konusu.

Zoe, oldukça erkeksi, sessiz, sakin, sert sınırlara sahip bir kişilikte, asi bir kadın. Buna hiç gerek yoktu. Mio ise bunun tam tersi. Konuşkan, cana yakın vb. Benzer özellikleri bir önceki oyunda da görmüştük fakat bu kadar yapay ve zorlama görünmüyordu. Burada sanki hikâye bir genç kızın hikâye günlüğünden alınmış gibi. Sadece içerisine biraz oyun dinamiği eklemiş.

Karakterleri yargılamayı bırakıp biraz oyunun iyi düşünülmüş detaylarına baksam iyi olacak. Diğer oyun kadar kolay bulunan mini oyunlara ve yan sahnelere sahip olmasa da oldukça eğlenceli. Bir ara kendimizi bir anda domuz hâlinde bulduk. Bununla ilgili birkaç ırkçı ve dinsel şakalar yaptık aramızda ve bayağı da eğlendik.

Bulmacaları çözüp de o hikâyenin sonuna geldiğimizde ise sonumuz sosisli sandviç olmak oldu. Bulmacalar bu bölümde biraz daha zorladı diğer yerlere göre çünkü bence karakterlerin ve yeteneklerin değişmesine bir anda adapte olmak zordu.

Açıkçası size gösterdiğim fotoğraflar sonrasında oyunda şu zamana kadar en beğendiğim sahne geliyor ve bu yüzden de burada oyun hakkındaki fikirlerimi bitiriyorum. Sanırım oyun hakkında karışık düşüncelere sahip olduğumu anlamışsınızdır. Yukarıda da belirttiğim gibi belki oyuna devam ettikçe fikrim değişir.
