Hello gamers, today I want to talk to you about a mobile game that I discovered recently and that I really liked at first. It's Jekyll and Hyde, a dark, 19th century detective game.
Hola, gamers Hoy quiero hablarles de un juego para celular que descubrí hace poco y que la verdad me gustó bastante en un principio. Se trata de Jekyll y Hyde, un juego de tinte oscuro, de detectives en el siglo XIX.
The game starts in a very mysterious way, with a man in the shadows talking about an experiment (in fact we are the delivery man of a pharmacy who is going to deliver a "very special" package to him) and out of nowhere, we go to another scene with our character.
El juego empieza de forma muy misteriosa, con un hombre en las sombras hablando sobre un experimento (de hecho somos el repartidor de una farmacia que va a entregarle un paquete "muy especial") y de la nada, vamos a otra escena con nuestro personaje.
We are a 19th century detective who is wondering about the disappearance of a dear friend, and must also meet an acquaintance who has news of an altercation that occurred the night before in the middle of the street. I won't say more about the story because, being a mystery and unveiling it ourselves, the hook of the game is to discover it all yourself.
Somos un detective del siglo XIX que se pregunta por la desaparición de un amigo querido, además debe encontrarse con un conocido que tiene noticias sobre un altercado ocurrido en la noche anterior en plena calle. No diré más acerca de la historia porque al ser de misterio y nosotros mismos develarlos, el gancho del juego es descubrir todo uno mismo.
I find the aesthetics of the game super cute, as well as attractive I find it very adorable, we move simply by pressing the screen, so the controls are not complicated at all.
La estética del juego me parece super linda, además de atractiva me resulta muy adorable, nos desplazamos simplemente pulsando la pantalla, así que los controles no son nada complicados
I was pleasantly surprised that the game had puzzles, there are many people who don't like them but I love them (unless they are like the ones in Silent Hill 1 that made me jump off a balcony rather than solve them) that exercising your mind while playing is fun, in this case I had to look for clues around the office that would lead me to discover the digits of the lock.
Me sorprendió gratamente que el juego tuviera puzzels, hay muchas personas a las que no les gusta pero a mi me encantan (a menos que sean como los del Silent Hill 1 con los que provocaba lanzarse de un balcón antes que resolverlos) eso de ejercitar la mente mientras juegas es divertido, en este caso debía buscar pistas por el despacho que me llevaran a descubrir los dígitos del candado.
It wasn't that easy and it wasn't that hard, so I found it quite fun.

I also found it curious to decipher clues in the text with that meter. Each time the needle passed over the highlighted part of the text, you had to click on it to discover the clue.
También me resultó curioso el hecho de descifrar pistas en el texto con ese medidor. Cada vez que pasaba la aguja por la parte resaltada había que pulsar y así descubrir la pista.
I like that you can use a kind of chronology and go back in history to see events where your character wasn't there according to what he was told, in this case I played the perpetrator of the crime and it was fun and curious.
Me gusta que puedes usar una especie de cronología e ir atrás en la historia para ver hechos donde tu personaje no estuvo según lo que le contaron, en este caso jugué con el perpetrador del crimen y fue divertido y curioso.
I find the gameplay with this character curious as we had to destroy a fruit stand, the way to do it was to press the circle several times, or slide to where the screen indicated with a time limit. It was fun
Me parece curiosa la jugabilidad con este personaje ya que debíamos destruir un puesto de frutas, la forma de hacerlo era presionar varias veces el circulo, o deslizar hacia donde indicara la pantalla con un limite de tiempo. Fue divertido
After a while of playing I finished the chapter with a monologue from the mystery man. Overall I found the game quite entertaining, however, playing the second chapter I realised that if you don't buy a token for the game, it doesn't allow you to progress, and therefore you can't finish the game unless you pay, is not that I'm complaining about paying for a game, after all, you always have to buy it to play it, and that's why I would have preferred them to sell the game and leave the demo as a free download, so you would be aware that we were playing a demo, because finding out that you have to pay to continue the game's progress was disappointing.
Después de un rato de jugar terminé el capítulo con un monólogo del hombre misterioso. En líneas generales me parece un juego bastante entretenido, sin embargo, jugando el segundo capítulo me di cuenta de que si no compras un token del juego, no te permite avanzar, y por consiguiente no puedes terminar el juego a menos que pagues, y no es que me queje de pagar por un juego, después de todo, siempre debes comprarlo para jugarlo, y es por eso que hubiese preferido que vendieran el juego y dejaran como descarga libre la demo, así estarías conscientes de que jugábamos una demo, porque enterarte de que debes pagar para seguir con el progreso del juego fue decepcionante.
