This month has been a lot more giving than the last few. I have finally hit level 2 honor, out of level 3. This means I will be able to get more frequent drops of keys to unlock hextech craft boxes and so on.
At the moment of writing this post, I have 17 skin shards waiting on me. I am yet to decide which other skin will I re-roll for permanent skin along with the Renekton and Lee Sin skin shards since I already unlocked skins for them earlier. Out of the 17 skin shards, I have skins for 7 of them. This should make it easier for me to decide among the remaining 10.

On the other hand, I am very close to unlocking Mastery level 7 with Ezreal. One more S or S+ performance and I should have it. That along with Sivir mastery 7 and Volibear mastery 6. However, Divine Sunderrer got nerfed in the latest patch so Ezreal could be slightly weaker this patch on.
Hextech Crafting
I finally received my 3rd key fragment after a long wait, thanks to my honor level going up. I have no recollection of where the other 2 key fragments came from. This will be one of the luckiest unboxings since it brings my unboxing MMR higher which means better loot.
After almost a month of waiting for a goddamn loot box opening, I get an emote. Can we get Trick2g in here to scream "UNLUUUUCKKKKKYYYY"? And as if to rub it in, its a "Howdy" emote with a smug look. Nevertheless, it has become one of my 5 permaent emotes with which I play regularly. Kinda has a trolly vibe to it...especially when I go 0/5 in the first 15 minutes.
Project 2021 Missions
The Project 2021 missions were probably some of the easiest missions I have played. No wonder the trade-off was mundane. Come to think of it, I used 180 Project Mission tokens to buy a triplet set of key fragments and this instant I used 20 to buy one more key fragment.
The boxes however come only through games. You either score S or higher on a champion you haven't already gotten S or above on. You can also buy them with RP or sometimes get them through missions or tokens. The Masterwork Chest and Key is however limited to drops.
WHAT A LEGENDARY DROP! Three drops from one box! A new hextech crafting box, and SKT T1 Lee Sin skin which was designed on SKT winning world championship, and a hextech key. Not a key fragment, a whole key! This means I can open the newly dropped box immediately.
The SKT skin has a lore of its own. It was when Lee Sin was meta (not that he is ever out of the meta) and was making noise in the LOL community for the insane mechanical potential he had. SKT went on to win worlds and Lee Sin was one of their core champions, hence the skin!
Getting MasterWork Chest
With the new chance at Hextech crafting, I used my newly found hextech key to open the hextech box. Lo' and behold. I couldn't belive my eyes. What are the odds? I could look up the odds, but that would probably take my excitement away. A MASTERWORK CHEST!
I am so excited now. I am thinking about all the awesomeness that could come out of this hextech Masterwork Chest. Maybe a gemstone, maybe a legendary skin, maybe a mix of everything. What could this rare box hold?!
I was realistically hoping for at least a legendary and rare skin. If not at least their skin shards. That would instantly let me disenchant them for some Orange Essence with which I could redeem the already existing skin shards.
But...this is what I got. An emote. A goddamn emote. From a masterwork chest. A "You look familiar" emote. How is that ever going to come into play? It is not even relatable nor troll enough. It should have been named "Your disappointment looks familiar" since my disappointment with hextech crafting peaked after this. Ugh.
Others
Apart from collecting all the champions there are just emotes and skins I can collect from the loots. I get a champion capsule every time I level up so any drops of champions from the boxes are useless.
I want to document the drops in more detail. Here I have two more drops which I kept with me.

Toy soldier Gangplank and Cosmic Reaver Kassadin. The Toy Soldier Gangplank is a legacy content skin which was very popular 4-5 seasons ago. GP has since been updated and I do not play him nor plan on playing him so this skin shard is a top favorite for getting re-rolled.
Cosmic Reaver Kassadin is one skin that I haven't seen much on the rift. Kassadin is one those champions that simply doesn't get weak even with nerfs. She is still a great champ and on my bucket list. Maybe I will unlock the skin permanently. Maybe.
