I missed the last season of @steemmonsters, and have been keen to build up rank this seaon. Starting at the very bottom feels a bit sad, but climbing can be pretty quick if you choose your cards wisely.

In this link to a recent battle you can see my card layout, I am not an expert on the game but I have an idea of what works for me and stick with it. Each card has a Mana number, and each game round has a Maximum Mana - so you have to choose your cards so you use all the available Mana.

When you choose cards, you have to remember that the first cards in the list will be up for battle - so you want to choose cards with a high heart value, a shield value if available - they are going to be attacked so the more hearts the better. Use one or two of these, and then for the left over Mana choose the shield cards that can attack enemies from behind - they are important - you need to have cards attacking your enemy in between the main cards battling.

By reviewing my game plays with card choices you can see how these led me to win rounds, quickly I can then rank up.
Bronze 3 to Bronze 1 in no time, getting your card choices right will help you progress to higher levels in the game, and of course the higher you climb the greater the reward cards you will receive - to either add to your deck or to put up for sale - you can earn an impressive amount from cards in a very short amount of time.
