Very good everyone! I hope you are having a great day. Today we continue with the reviews and, well, it's time to try another game that caught my attention: DREDGE.
It is a game in which we will be a fisherman whose boat was completely destroyed due to different factors. From there, we will begin to work for the mayor of the city, who will give us a boat and we will have to pay him a percentage of the fishing we do, in addition to having to supply the city with fish.
The thing is, in the sea, strange things start happening at night, as well as strange constructions in the ocean.
¡Muy buenas a todos! Espero que estén pasando un excelente día. Hoy continuamos con las reviews y, bueno, toca probar otro juego que me llamó la atención: DREDGE.
Es un juego en el cual seremos un pescador cuyo barco quedó completamente destrozado debido a diferentes factores. A partir de ahí, comenzaremos a trabajar para el alcalde de la ciudad, quien nos dará un barco y tendremos que pagarle un porcentaje de la pesca que hagamos, además de tener que suministrar a la ciudad con pescados.
La cuestión es que, en el mar, comienzan a pasar cosas extrañas por la noche, así como también construcciones extrañas en el océano.
Once the game has started, we arrive at Vertebra Mayor and the mayor gives us a warm welcome and tells us that our ship was damaged beyond repair, and that we will talk about it later. Clearly, he wants me to be his slave fisherman.
Una vez comenzado el juego, llegamos a Vertebra Mayor y el alcalde nos da una calurosa bienvenida y nos comenta que nuestro barco quedó con daños irreparables, y que luego hablaremos de eso. Claramente, quiere que sea su pescador esclavo.
Before I leave, he tells me something curious: to come back before dawn. Here, my gamer instinct tells me that, without a doubt, there are things that come out of the sea at night and that can put the integrity of the boat and my life at risk.
Antes de irme, me dice algo curioso: que vuelva antes del amanecer. Aquí, mi instinto de gamer me dice que, sin lugar a dudas, hay cosas que salen del mar en la noche y que pueden poner en riesgo la integridad del barco y de mi vida.
The gameplay of the game is quite smooth. You can move the ship with the typical letters A, S, W, D, and the camera with the movement of the mouse. Likewise, when it comes to fishing, it is quite simple, since we will only have to wait for the line to pass through the green bars and press F, and with that we will catch the fish.
La jugabilidad del juego es bastante fluida. Puedes mover el barco con las típicas letras A, S, W, D, y la cámara con el movimiento del mouse. De igual manera, a la hora de pescar, es bastante sencillo, pues solo tendremos que esperar que la línea pase por las barras verdes y darle a la F, y ya con eso pescaremos el pez.
After catching the fish, you simply arrange them in your inventory so that they all fit; You can rotate and move them as you like.
Ya luego de pescar los peces, simplemente los acomodas en tu inventario de forma que quepan todos; los puedes rotar y mover a tu gusto.
Another section that I really liked was that, if we press the letter E, we can turn on the boat's lights at night, sound the horn and use the telescope. There are other options, but I can't use them as you can see.
Otro apartado que me gustó mucho fue que, si presionamos la letra E, podemos prender las luces del barco para la noche, tocar la bocina y usar el telescopio. Hay otras opciones, pero no las puedo usar como pueden ver.
Anyway, I went fishing and, without realizing it, the night took hold of me while I returned to the port to sleep. I got a message telling me that exposure to fog and other elements increases my panic levels. Honestly, I don't understand how the truth works, I don't know what will happen if I panic as much as possible.
En fin, me fui a pescar y, sin darme cuenta, me agarró la noche mientras volvía al puerto para dormir. Me salió un mensaje diciéndome que la exposición a la niebla y otros elementos aumentan mis niveles de pánico. Sinceramente, no entiendo cómo funciona la verdad, no sé qué pasará si llego al máximo de pánico posible.
My doubts didn't take long to answer themselves as I returned, because a lot of crows appeared, which stole most of the fish I had. I assume this is one of the events of having high panic.
Mis dudas no tardaron en responderse solas mientras volvía, pues aparecieron un montón de cuervos, los cuales se me robaron la mayoría de peces que tenía. Supongo que este es uno de los eventos al tener el pánico elevado.
After clearly having a crazy night and crashing the boat, I went to sell what little fish I had left. It wasn't a lot of money, but it's something.
Después de tener claramente una noche loca y de haber chocado el barco, fui a vender lo poco que me quedaba de peces. No fue mucho dinero, pero algo es algo.
And right there was the boat carpentry shop, which repaired my boat for only $90 and also sold parts to improve my boat.
Y allí mismo estaba la carpintería de barcos, la cual me reparaba el barco por tan solo $90 y, además, vendía piezas para mejorar mi barco.
And after a few minutes, I got the money to repair the boat, and some spotlights for my boat caught my attention, which I would like to buy so I don't hit the rocks in the dark again, hahaha. But that's for another post.
Y después de unos cuantos minutos, conseguí el dinero para reparar el barco, y me llamó la atención unos focos para mi barco, los cuales me gustaría comprar para así no volver a chocar con las rocas en la oscuridad, jajaja. Pero eso es para otro post.
And well, guys, what can I tell you, I loved this game. It has very dynamic and fun gameplay, to the point that, after finishing the post, I stayed playing for a while longer. The history and background behind this mysterious place is disturbing and curious.
Watching some gameplay I realized that there are creatures that I don't know how I'm going to deal with, but I'm dying to do it.
I give this game a 9/10 so far.
Y bueno, chicos, que les puedo decir, me encantó este juego. Tiene una jugabilidad muy dinámica y divertida, al punto que, después de terminar el post, me quedé jugando un rato más. La historia y el trasfondo que hay detrás de este misterioso lugar es inquietante y curioso.
Viendo algunos gameplay me di cuenta de que hay criaturas las cuales no sé cómo voy a enfrentarme con ellas, pero me muero de hacerlo.
Le doy un 9/10 de momento a este juego.
