Epic has for years now been applying of strategy of instead of fixing their platform so it's not riddled with bugs and inefficiency they are instead giving away games so people forget about all the problems, and in most cases it's worked!

These last few weeks it's been a bit slow with the titles they put in the shop for free, some I just add and let them rot in my library but there are others that I'm interested in playing, even if I've already spent days banging my head over them.

You could say that Loop Hero is one of those games.

It's a game that you don't understand how, when and why but you end up hooked for months playing it, you play only with the mouse dragging cards to a board where our hero is running through a loop in which monsters appear that we must defeat.

What catches you is that we don't control the hero himself, but his environment, with the use of the cards that we find when defeating monsters we can change the way the hero goes, placing more complicated monsters to defeat and that translate into better rewards or giving him some extra bonuses and companions to help him in these fights.

With every turn we do in the loop things get more complicated, our improvements do not have as much effect and the enemies become harder and harder, forcing us to always have to be increasing the level of what we wear, it is not an endless run as you might think because every time we will have final bosses if we overcome a number of times the loop, and we must be very prepared for them if we want to defeat them.

It is a very easy game in its mechanics, we will only need the mouse to move the cards that we will put on the stage, and ready! the Hero will do the rest although we can also change the class of the hero and turn it into a necromancer or an explorer that can be said to have different needs as well as different armor and weapons, we can also unlock some extra cards in our base camp so we also have to balance our deck in our favor.

How to claim it

You need an Epic Store account, you get that with an email, a password and verifying the email, after that just look for the game in the magnifying glass and hit the Claim option, we will enter a payment tab but in reality we will only be paying 0.00$, after that you just wait for the page to redirect you and you should have it in your library.

And you should already have it in the library!

This promotion ends on the 10th so I suggest you grab it at once so when you have some time you can play it, I promise it will at least be a different experience to what any other game has been, it's quite unique and has the backing of both critics and gamers alike.

Epic ha estado desde hace años aplicando de la estrategia de en vez de arreglar su plataforma para que no este plagada de bugs e ineficiencia estan en cambio regalando juegos para que la gente se olvide de todos los problemas, y en la mayoria de los casos ha funcionado!

Estas ultimas semanas ha estado un poco lenta con los titulos que pone gratis en la tienda, algunos solo los agrego y los dejo pudrirse en mi biblioteca pero hay otros que si me interesan jugar, incluso si ya me he pasado dias enteros golpeandome la cabeza con ellos

Podria decirse que Loop Hero es uno de esos juegos

Es un juego que no entiendes como, cuando y por que pero terminas enganchado por meses jugandolo, se juega solo con el mouse arrastrando cartas a un tablero en donde se encuentra nuestro heroe recorriendo un loop en el que aparecen monstruos que deberemos vencer.

Lo que te atrapa es que no controlamos al heroe en si, sino a su entorno, con el uso de las cartas que vamos encontrando al vencer monstruos podemos cambiar el camino por el que va el heroe, colocandole monstruos mas complicados de vencer y que se traducen en mejores recompensas o dandole algunos bonuses extras y compañeros para ayudarle en estas peleas.

Con cada vuelta que hagamos en el bucle las cosas se van complicando, nuestras mejoras no tienen tanto efecto y los enemigos se vuelven mas y mas duros, lo que nos obliga a siempre tener que estar aumentando el nivel de lo que llevemos puestos, no es un endless run como podrias pensar ya que cada tendremos bosses finales si logramos superar una cantidad de veces el loop, y hay que estar muy preparados para ellos si queremos derrotarles

Es un juego muy facil en sus mecanicas, solo necesitaremos el mouse para mover las cartas que pondremos sobre el escenario, y listo! el Heroe hara el resto aunque tambien podemos cambiar de clase al heroe y volverlo un necromancer o un explorador que se pueden decir que tienen necesidades distintas asi como armaduras y armas distintas, tambien podremos desbloquear algunas cartas extra en nuestro campamento base por lo que tambien tendremos que equilibrar nuestro mazo a nuestro favor

Como reclamarlo

Necesitas una cuenta en Epic Store, eso la consigues con un correo, una contraseña y verificando el correo, despues de eso solo tienes que buscar el juego en al lupa y darle a la opcion de Claim, entraremos en una pestaña de pago pero en realidad solo estaremos pagando 0.00$, despues de eso solo esperas a que la pagina te redirija y ya deberias tenerlo en la biblioteca

Y ya lo deberias tener en la biblioteca!

Esta promocion termina el dia 10 asi que les sugiero que lo agarren de una vez y asi cuando tengan algun tiempo puedan jugarlo, prometo que al menos sera una experiencia diferente a lo que cualquier otro juego ha sido, es bastante unico y tiene el respaldo tanto de criticos como de jugadores
