Yes, I have to admit it, despite being a gamer who likes challenges and constantly dying trying to figure out how I should pass one of the bosses I have never in my life played any Dark Souls, I've had several opportunities to play all this range of games but simply did not attract me too much attention, I'm not much of playing games set in medieval times, but I'm a little more of space adventures, but today I decided to sit down and let me get carried away a little by the Remastered of the first Dark Souls, many say it is the best of all so it's worth a try.
I took some screenshots from the console where I'm playing it, I think the first thing you will notice is that it is a dark game literally, I had to set the screen a little higher brightness than usual but that's the least of it, I'm here for the gameplay and in this area I was worried that the gameplay would not hook me enough, I had heard that the movement in this game, especially in this first installment was a little rough and if there is something I like is that I can move my character and have the best possible control of this.
From the editor you can tell that I am entering a simpler time when the games were released complete and most developers did not have the ability to fix anything in their title, the character editor is basic, simple and takes me to simpler times where I only had to edit a few things and I was launched into action, there is a cinematic at the beginning of the level and we place our newly created character in a catacombs waiting to die, if not because they throw us a key to escape we do not get out of there.
The first minutes out of jail is to learn a little controls, I jumped a screen at the beginning of everything but I decided it was better to see how everything worked on the ground and from there solve any problems, besides that also along the way there are some clues on how the controls work, the attack buttons and dash are the basics so I always saw in some gameplays, you also have to take care of the stamina bar if we want to last a little longer against enemies that matter throughout this path.
I felt very good finishing with skeletons and prisoners who could barely stand up, I still didn't even have a weapon but with a couple of punches I took them down one by one, I went through a few doors and the same, there are several paths but later I would find out a little how is the loot system of this game, I went through all these doors to get me with the save point, the bonfires and a point of light among so many dead.
These are the checkpoints in the adventure, then there was a door a little bigger than usual, I decided to enter and it seemed an empty room with no enemies and a door that opened inside, until I walked a few more steps and I was crushed by the boss of this area, I had already seen him through the window of the prison but I did not know how fast I was going to fight one of these bosses, and without weapons, I ended up crushed as usual in this game, no weapons but with the note that the door to the inside opened even though I did not defeat the monster, that's new to me, so you can avoid those fights if they are too much for you and decide to come back after you are not a potato without a sword.
Of course I tried to fight him and failed miserably, I decided to escape and see what else the game brought me, finding a sword, a shield and a few enemies in the caves, from there I died a couple more times to end the session for that day, but tomorrow I will return Dark Souls, and I hope to explore a little more of its environment.

Si, me toca admitirlo, a pesar de ser un jugador al que le gustan los retos y estar muriendo constantemente tratando de averiguar como debo pasar a uno de los boss jamas en mi vida he tocado algun Dark Souls, he tenido varias oportunidades de jugar toda esta gama de juegos pero simplemente no me atraia demasiado la atencion, no soy mucho de jugar juegos ubicados en la epoca medieval, sino que soy un poco mas de las aventuras espaciales, pero hoy he decidido sentarme y dejarme llevar un poco por el Remastered del primer Dark Souls, muchos dicen que es el mejor de todos asi que vale la pena probar.
Tome algunas capturas desde la consola donde la estoy jugando, creo que lo primero que notaran es que es un juego oscuro literalmente, tuve que configurar la pantalla un poco mas alto de brillo de lo usual pero es lo de menos, estoy aca por la jugabilidad y en este ambito me preocupaba que no me enganchara lo suficiente el gameplay, habia oido que el movimiento en este juego, en especial en esta primera entrega era un poco tosco y si hay algo que me gusta es que pueda mover a mi personaje y tener el mejor control posible de este.
Desde el editor se nota que estoy entrando a una epoca mas simple cuando los juegos eran lanzados completos y la mayoria de los desarrolladores no tenia la posibilidad de arreglar nada de su titulo, el editor de personaje es basico, sencillo y me lleva a tiempos mas simples en donde solo tenia que editar algunas cosas y ya me lanzaban a la accion, hay una cinematica al empezar el nivel y nos ubican a nuestro personaje recien creado en unas catacumbas esperando a morir, de no ser porque nos lanzan una llave para escapar no salimos de ahi.
Los primeros minutos fuera de carcel es aprender un poco los controles, me salto una pantalla al inicio de todo pero decidi que mejor era ver como funcionaba todo sobre el terreno y desde ahi resolver cualquier problema, ademas de que tambien por el camino hay unas pistas sobre como funcionan los controles, los botones de ataque y dash son los basicos por lo que siempre veia en algunos gameplays, tambien hay que cuidar la barra de stamina si queremos durar un poco mas contra los enemigos que importan en toda este camino.
Me sentia muy bien acabando con esqueletos y prisioneros que apenas podian levantarse,aun no tenia siquiera un arma pero de igual manera con un par de puñetazos los derribo uno a uno, pase por unas cuantas puertas y lo mismo, hay varios caminos pero despues averiguaria un poco como es el sistema de loot de este juego, pase por todas estas puertas hasta conseguirme con el punto de guardado, las fogatas y un punto de luz entre tantos muertos.
Estos son los checkpoints en la aventura, despues habia una puerta un poco mas grande de lo usual, decidi entrar y parecia una sala vacia sin enemigos y una puerta que se abria al interior, hasta que camine unos pasos mas y me aplasto el jefe de esta zona, ya lo habia visto por la ventana de la prision pero no sabia que tan rapido me iban a poner a combatir uno de estos bosses, y sin armas, termine aplastado como es habitual en este juego, sin armas pero con la nota de que la puerta al interior se abrio aunque no haya derrotado al monstruo, eso es nuevo para mi, asi que puedes evitar esas peleas si son demasiado para ti y decidir volver despues de que no seas una papa sin espada
Por supuesto intente combatirlo y fracase estrepitosamente, decidi escapar y ver que mas me traia el juego, encontrando una espada, un escudo y un poco de enemigos en las cuevas, a partir de ahi mori un par de veces mas para dar por terminada la sesion por ese dia, pero mañana volvere Dark Souls, y espero recorrer un poco mas de su entorno
