Hoy no hay un post bello de fondo para ustedes, lo siento pero estoy molido de estar dia tras dia en el trabajo ademas de que desde hace dias arrastro una lesion en el brazo. asi que me puse a ver algunas noticias de videojuegos a ver si por el medio ya anunciaban la fecha de lanzamiento de Gotham Knights o algun buen Gameplay de lo que sea que es el nuevo juego de Suicide Squad pero me encontre con una noticia bastante interesante, Fortnite. La sensacion desde hace varios años de los shooters arena y quiza el fenomeno de masas mas exitoso del videojuego habia anunciado que para su nueva temporada iba a quitar una de sus mecanicas mas caracteristicas: Construir. La comunidad del juego salio enfurecida a que les den explicaciones de por que han tomado una decision tan marcada para el juego y aunque no hemos tenido respuesta de Epic en este asunto creo que implementaron esto por algo muy sencillo.
Construir es dificil. al menos al nivel mas basico puede que ni uses esta mecanica y te enfoques en los disparos pero ya en un nivel intermedio y sobre todo en el nivel competitivo esta es una tecnica clave para flanquear y obtener superioridad frente a los enemigos, y revisando un poco mas de las criticas que se venian en las redes sociales una mayoria venian de varios jugadores de alto rendimiento que criticaban a Epic Games por hacer el juego mas "facil" para los principiantes o los que en general les interesa mas la parte de disparar que la de construir torres a los limites del mapa. Pero es esto de verdad una razon valida para criticar un juego?

Siento que todas estas criticas vienen de un sector muy especifico, los llamados "tryhards" gamers que no son mas que un sector de jugadores que se toman demasiado en serio las mecanicas de un juego al punto de ser dependientes emocionalmente de lo que pase en una partida, y no me malentiendan este tipo de jugadores los podemos ver tambien en los aficionados de los deportes o en cualquier otra pasion que se ponga en la mesa pero en especial en la industria del videojuego este tipo de jugadores desgraciadamente suelen caer constantemente en el monton de jugadores toxicos que te puedes encontrar en el lobby, podria decir que la mayoria de estos jugadores solo son pasionales sobre jugar videojuegos y siempre quieren jugar a ganar pero tambien es justo decir que muchos tienen problemas emocionales preocupantes al punto de en casos insultar sin mas o aplicar violencia a una experiencia que deberia ser placentera como lo son los videojuegos.

Esta practica no es precisamente vieja, de hecho desde los inicios del multijugador pienso que hemos visto hasta donde puede llegar la toxicidad en un grupo o comunidad, yo especialmente siempre estuve luchando contra los malos tratos incluso en los cyber cafe de mi pais en donde siempre habia alguien que era "mas apasionado" que los demas y se la pasaba gritando o insultando a todos los jugadores, creo que esa experiencia solo se ha traducido ahora al medio online y afectando a varios millones de usuarios por igual, las partidas suelen ser una batalla campal tanto en la pantalla como en el microfono y eso muchas veces hace que los usuarios se lo piensen dos veces antes de jugar al multijugador de algun juego, he de admitir que yo tambien he sido complice de muchas de estas practicas, soy alguien que es a veces demasiado competitivo y me dejo llevar bastante por las emociones del momento.

Siento que hay algun juego para cada jugador alla afuera, y siento que tambien los lobbys toxicos y esta creencia de que los tryhard son normales en el videojuego pueden ser cambiados con las politicas adecuadas, ya lo hemos visto de la mano de algunos de los grandes desarrolladores, solo falta la parte mas importante, el jugador, que reflexionemos lo mejor posible antes de acalorarnos por alguna decision en alguna partida, la violencia que se quede en los disparos y la jugabilidad pero que fuera de esta reine un poco la paz, que estamos aqui todos para divertirnos y es lo mejor para conservar nuestra querida base de jugadores.

No beautiful background post for you today, I'm sorry but I'm just worn out from being day after day at work plus I've been dragging an arm injury for days. so I started to watch some video game news to see if they already announced the release date of Gotham Knights or some good gameplay of whatever the new Suicide Squad game is but I came across a pretty interesting news, Fortnite. The sensation for several years of arena shooters and perhaps the most successful mass phenomenon of the video game had announced that for its new season was going to remove one of its most characteristic mechanics: Build. The community of the game was furious to be given explanations of why they have taken a decision so marked for the game and although we have had no response from Epic in this matter I think they implemented this for something very simple.

I feel that all these criticisms come from a very specific sector, the so called "tryhards" gamers that are nothing more than a sector of players who take too seriously the mechanics of a game to the point of being emotionally dependent on what happens in a game, and do not get me wrong this type of players we can see them also in sports fans or any other passion that is put on the table but especially in the video game industry this type of players unfortunately often fall constantly in the pile of toxic players that you can find in the lobby, I could say that most of these players are just passionate about playing video games and always want to play to win but it is also fair to say that many have troubling emotional problems to the point of in cases insulting without further or apply violence to an experience that should be pleasurable as they are video games.

I feel that there is some game for every gamer out there, and I feel that also the toxic lobbies and this belief that tryhard is normal in gaming can be changed with the right policies, we have already seen it from some of the big developers, only the most important part is missing, the player, that we reflect as best as possible before getting heated by some decision in some game, the violence to stay in the shooting and gameplay but outside of this reign a little peace, we are all here to have fun and it is best to keep our beloved player base.
