At least I have a little more vision about the purpose of the story. We follow YI, who is something of a former scientist and leader in this strange world, seeking revenge against his other companions for betraying him. I'm sure at some point in the plot we'll notice that we're straying from the right path and not doing things the way the game's culture wants us to. Taoism is an ideology I don't know much about, but I do believe it states that revenge is bad, it kills the soul and poisons it, so there's a plot twist there that seems obvious to me from the start. moment
But we're not just here for the plot; we'll also get our dose of exploration and world-building. I already said that I think this world is heavily inspired by Chinese culture, but also At the same time, I see some things that I'd say are more cyberpunk-style.
But what matters here is the gameplay and how we approach it. For now, I've been able to master everything that parrying is, and I'm even curious to see some of the extra abilities we can unlock. For now, nothing beyond an increase in my damage or speed, but in the future, it could be a good tool!

Tenía tiempo sin aventurarme por este juego que me compré y lo tenía en mi biblioteca exclusivamente para saciar mi sed por juegos en dos dimensiones al estilo plataformas, debo decir que en mi país el clima ha estado extraño estos días por lo que lo que he hecho ha sido jugar videojuegos pero acaba otra sesión y en esta sí que hay algunos progresos
Cómo por ejemplo que ya entiendo un poco mejor el sistema de combate y ya me estoy volviendo en todo un experto en hacer los parrys y los contraataques, está sin duda es la mecánica principal del juego y es la que estaremos puliendo y agregando nuevas formas de bloquear enemigos porque con los jefes finales sí que hay diferencia con los enemigos comunes a la hora de bloquear
Me sigue dejando sin habla el diseño de este juego, el diseño gráfico en particular desde el final del primer nivel me ha dejado maravillado por todo lo que puede ofrecer, es en verdad un hollow knight pero más enfocado en el budismo o en las artes marciales que en verdad explorar todo lo que tenemos a nuestro alcance, en esa faceta me ha decepcionado un poco
Los niveles a pesar de que tenemos varios secretos creo que solo estamos juntando e hilando parte del lore y de la historia del juego, muy pocas veces hay mejoradores y potenciadores para nuestro personaje aunque tengamos un árbol de habilidades y básicamente este juego también sea en parte RPG
Al menos ya tengo un poco mas de vision sobre el proposito de la historia, seguimos a YI que es algo asi como un ex cientifico y lider en este mundo extraño, buscando venganza contra sus otros compañeros por traicionarlo, de hecho una pequeña escena de ese momento exacto sale en los primeros minutos del juego por lo que la aventura se va a centrar en el camino de destruccion que vamos a llevar a cabo con Yi
Estoy seguro que en algun momento de la trama vamos a notar que nos estamos desviando del camino correcto y estamos haciendo las cosas no de la forma en que la cultura del juego quiere que lo hagamos, el taoismo es una ideologia del cual no conozco mucho pero si creo que afirma que la venganza es mala, mata el alma y la envenena asi que ahi hay un giro de la trama que me parece obvio desde el primer momento
Pero no estamos aqui solo por la trama, tambien tendremos nuestra dosis de exploracion y conocimiento el mundo, ya dije que me parece que este mundo esta muy inspirado en la cultura china pero tambien a su vez veo algunas cosas que diria que son mas del estilo cyberpunk
Pero aca lo que importa es la jugabilidad y como nos acercamos a ella, por el momento he podido dominar todo lo que es el parry e incluso em ha picado la curiosidad para ver algunas de las habilidades extras que podemos desbloquear, por ahora nada que no sea un aumento en mi daño o velocidad pero a futuro puede ser una buena herramienta!
