Hades 2 may be one of the best works I've played in video games, it's a title that is as compact as it is dynamic and reflects very well the meaning of what a sequel should be, a game that doesn't forget its foundations in any way but rather builds something new on it and expands the original experience to new horizons
It's polished in so many ways that I feel like the only way to truly find out what makes it so great is to simply play both parts and do the analysis yourself. themselves, but I'm sure they came to the post to hear my opinions and I think this is one of the games I've talked about the most on this blog because there are too many things to talk about and fortunately everything is for the best.
Starting with the combat system and as I told you before, this game has a virtue and that is that it almost does not change the original system that worked perfectly in the first game but it expanded the experience by introducing new mechanics such as magic, which is very useful considering that we have a new main character who is closely linked to this world (and also that it is inspired by mythology, which is an extra goody)
If there were a place to bet on which game is the most anticipated of these years, I would bet all my money that this second installment of Hades would win quite a few awards. This time, we have to travel to the bottom of the underworld with the immortal princess, daughter of Hades, something that is very symmetrical with the first game, but adds some unusual paths that I really liked.
For example, in this session we went up to Olympus, which was almost forbidden in the first game and in fact we never got to pass more than two steps with I bled in the first title but here it only takes a spell from our expert mother to be able to breathe and give some good punches on the surface to defend precisely the gods of Olympus from the war that is coming to them
Explaining the story here would be nonsense because it is good enough for me to keep it a secret and tell you to go play it while you can because I feel that both the first game and this second game make very special use of the secondary and main characters to give a sense of depth to the whole story on top of the fact that we are being inspired by the Greek mythology to play this game, and there are also many historical references to characters from this mythology
But basically we are going against the titan of time chronos who has kidnapped our family and has taken over the underworld and the kingdom of Hades, we do not know how long we have been like this but we will have the help of the gods again to be able to face the titan as much as we can and in a certain way be able to discover how to kill time itself
The path of this game is not an easy task and even the main story is not complete in this first paragraph of the game but I have no doubt that when it comes out complete it will be one of the best stories and will make a worthy sequel to the first game because already from the gameplay we are seeing some drops that even surpass the first title but that is basically the essence of the original with some improvements
Plus we have a whole new main character to wreak havoc on the road to the Underworld, complete with new weapons and weapon skins as well as gifts that will give us modifiers for have more possibilities to go further along the path but there is also an almost infinite variety of configurations that we can make both with the weapons we can choose and with the powers given to us by the gods of Olympus like Zeus or Aphrodite
I haven't seen a game with more variety than the first title and that's because Hades 2 focuses on being a worthy sequel to the first game and expands everything that we I liked the first title, adding new characters to the story as well as a complex and deep story and above all the gameplay that seems to me to be what will bring the most to the controls of the princess of the underworld in her fight against the titan of time

Hades 2 puede llegar a ser una de las mejores obras que he jugado en el videojuego, es un título que es tan compacto como dinámico y refleja muy bien el significado de lo que debería ser una secuela, un juego que no olvida sus bases de ninguna manera sino que más bien construye sobre ella algo nuevo y expande la experiencia original hasta nuevos horizontes
Está Pulido de tantas maneras que siento que la única forma de de verdad descubrir que lo hace tan genial es sencillamente jugando las dos partes y haciendo los análisis ustedes mismos, pero estoy seguro que entraron al post para oír mis opiniones y es que creo que este es uno de los juegos que más he hablado en este blog porque hay demasiadas cosas por hablar y afortunadamente todo para bien
Empezando con el sistema de combate y como ya le dije antes este juego tiene una virtud y es la de casi no cambiar el sistema original que funcionaba la perfección en el primer juego sino que ampliaba la experiencia metiendo nuevas mecánicas como la magia que viene muy bien entendiendo que tenemos un personaje principal nuevo y que está muy ligado a este mundo (además también de que se inspira bastante en la mitología lo cual un extra goody)
Si existiera algún sitio para apostar sobre qué juego es el más esperado de estos años les apostaría todo mi dinero a que esta segunda entrega de Hades se ganaría bastantes premios, esta vez nos toca viajar hacia el fondo del inframundo con la princesa inmortal hija de Hades, algo que hace mucha simetría con el primer juego pero agrega algunos caminos insólitos que me han agradado bastante
Como por ejemplo en esta sesión subimos hacia el Olimpo, el cual estaba casi prohibido en el primer juego y de hecho nunca llegamos a pasar más de dos pasos con sangreo en el primer título pero acá solo hace falta un hechizo por parte de nuestra madre experta para poder así respirar y dar unos buenos puñetazos en la superficie para defender precisamente a los dioses del Olimpo de la guerra que se les avecina
Explicar la historia acá sería un despropósito debido a que es lo suficientemente buena como para que yo la mantenga en secreto y les diga que vayan a jugárselo mientras puedan porque siento que tanto el primer juego como este segundo juego hace uso muy especial de los personajes secundarios y principales para dar una sensación de profundidad a toda la historia encima de que estamos inspirándonos por la mitología griega para jugar este juego, y también hay mucha referencias históricas a personajes de esta mitología
Pero básicamente vamos contra el titán del tiempo cronos que ha secuestrado a nuestra familia y se ha adueñado del inframundo y del reino de Hades, no sabemos desde hace cuánto tiempo estamos así pero tendremos la ayuda nuevamente de los dioses para poder hacerle frente al titán lo más que podamos y de cierta manera poder descubrir cómo matar el tiempo mismo
No es tarea fácil el camino de este juego y incluso la historia principal no está completa en este primer párrafo del juego pero no tengo ninguna duda que cuando salga completo será una de las mejores historias y hará una secuela digna del primer juego porque ya desde la jugabilidad estamos viendo algunas gotas que incluso superan el primer título pero que básicamente es la esencia del original con algunas mejoras
Además porque tenemos todo un personaje principal nuevo para hacer estragos en el camino hacia el Inframundo, completo con nuevas armas y diseños de armas así como los obsequios que nos darán modificadores para tener más posibilidades de llegar más lejos sobre el camino pero es que también hay una variedad casi infinita de configuraciones que podemos hacer tanto con las armas que podemos escoger como con los poderes que nos da los dioses del Olimpo como Zeus o Afrodita
No he viste un juego con más variedades de el primer título y es que Hades 2 se concentra en ser una secuela digna del primer juego y expande todo lo que nos ha gustado del primer título, agregando nuevos personajes a la historia así como una historia compleja y profunda y sobre todo la jugabilidad que me parece lo que más va a traer a los mandos de la princesa del inframundo en su lucha contra el titán del tiempo
