Cuando se trata de videojuegos que siempre esta chevere disfrutarlo junto a los amigos, hay experiencias en solitario que se potencian pero nada como unas buenas risas aun si el juego no es demasiado excelente, las experiencias cooperativas siempre han estado en mi vida, como hermano mayor que soy me ha tocado compartir un control extra para jugar con mis hermanos y algunos de estos juegos albergan mis mas bonitos recuerdos con ellos.

Es un poco una seleccion de algunos de esos recuerdos y ver porque me parecieron tan geniales en su tiempo, como dije creo que lo que hizo la diferencia en su tiempo fueron las carcajadas que nos mandabamos cada vez que jugabamos estos titulos y este post es para nombrar algunos de esos juegos y recomendar un par de titulos viejitos que funcionan bien en co-op.

Smash Bros Brawl

Si hablamos del juego de fiesta favorito de todos en mi casa tambien tenemos que hablar de lo excelente que fue su modo campaña-

Se basaba en un modo historia en donde ibamos repasando la historia de varios de los personajes del roaster viviendo cada uno experiencias diferentes pero que poco a poco se van uniendo para lidiar con una amenaza mas grande, a lo largo de los niveles vamos reclutando a mas personajes, pelear contra los adversarios y contra algunos bosses epicos.

Recuerdo bastante las peleas en las que nos metian, en general este juego tiene que ser uno de los mejores de la historia por todo el excelente contenido que ofrece pero el hecho de que tenga un modo historia solido se agradece bastante, en especial porque nos toca pasearnos por algunas localizaciones conocidas de los personajes y ver algunas interacciones bastante cheveres.

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Este juego lo recuerdo con muchisimo cariño, lo tenia en la primera Xbox que salio y que mi tio habia comprado para tenerla en su departamento, yo iba casi todos los dias despues de la escuela con mi hermano a jugar algunos juegos y entre esos juegos estaba este que fue mi introduccion al Mortal Kombat.

Y fue una introduccion que para serles sincero no podia jugar solo, este juego como todos los MK son sangrientos hasta el extremo y me atreveria a decir que es bastante turbio algunas de las cosas que pasan a lo largo de la trama ¡por eso lo jugue acompañado de mi hermano pequeño! (el tenia como 6 años xD)

Por alguna razon a el no parecia afectarle tanto como a mi todas las cinematicas que salian en el juego, porque siempre que jugabamos con la Xbox me pedia que jugasemos a este. Tiene una campaña cooperativa en donde controlamos a dos personajes, Liu Kang y Kung Lao, aunque despues se puede elegir tambien a Sub-Zero o a Scorpion.

Y bueno el juego es un beat'em up bastante bueno, me atreveria a decir que uno de los mas divertidos que he jugado, los combos, el movimiento, las interacciones con el escenario son geniales, la dificultad puede ponerse dura ya adentrados en la partida y lo mejor de todo es que podremos hacer Fatalities en donde queramos y contra los adversarios que queramos.

Recuerdo que buscabamos guias y los codigos de todos los fatalities y habia UNA DOCENA de ellos, ademas de la adicion de los Multalities y los Brutalities que son de las cosas mas increibles que he visto en este juego, muy muy recomendando si quieres probar Mortal Kombat desde un angulo distinto.

Brothers

Por ultimo pero no menos bueno, esta es una aventura grafica con algunos puzles sencillos en el camino que tienen que resolver dos hermanos trabajando juntos, es un juego bastante simple en donde si nos quedamos atascados siempre tendremos alguna guia, lo emepce a jugar con mi hermano porque fue el juego que dieron gratis un mes con una suscripcion al Games With Gold que teniamos en la 360 de ese entonces, daban dos juegos y este era el que mas me llamaba la atencion y a pesar de que no es un juego tan entretenido como los dos anteriores si que te deja helado.

Brothers es una aventura cooperativa que tiene su fuerte en la historia y como la cuenta, recuerdo que todo en la trama gira en torno a la relacion de los hermanos y aunque no se emite una sola palabra durante toda la aventura si que sentimos las emociones que ellos sienten, las adversidades les cambia los animos, el problema que tienen que resolver les pone nerviosos y lo sentimos en los controles. Es una aventura muy emotiva sobretodo cuando lo juegas con tu propio hermano y ves por todo lo que pasan estos personajes.

Asi quedamos con la lista, la verdad no soy demasiado a fin con los juegos cooperativos, como dije creo que la mayoria de estos los juego cuando hay algun familiar o amigo de por medio pero me gustaria saber si tienen alguno en la cabeza que me puedan recomendar, le he dado vueltas a ver si me compro It Takes Two pero no tengo con quien jugarlo de momento, como siempre gracias por sus recomendaciones.

When it comes to video games that is always cool to enjoy with friends, there are solo experiences that are enhanced but nothing like a good laugh even if the game is not too excellent, cooperative experiences have always been in my life, as an older brother I have had to share an extra controller to play with my brothers and some of these games hold my fondest memories with them.

It's a bit of a selection of some of those memories and see why I thought they were so cool at the time, like I said I think what made the difference at the time were the laughs we had every time we played these games and this post is to name some of those games and recommend a couple of older games that work well in co-op.

Smash Bros Brawl

If we're talking about everyone's favourite party game in my house we also have to talk about how excellent its campaign mode was.

It was based on a story mode where we were going through the history of several of the characters of the roaster living each different experiences but that gradually are coming together to deal with a larger threat, along the levels we recruit more characters, fight against opponents and against some epic bosses.

I remember quite a lot of the fights we got into, overall this game has to be one of the best ever for all the excellent content it offers but the fact that it has a solid story mode is quite appreciated, especially as we get to wander around some familiar character locations and see some pretty cool interactions.

I remember this game very fondly, I had it on the first Xbox that came out and that my uncle had bought to have it in his flat, I went almost every day after school with my brother to play some games and among those games was this one that was my introduction to Mortal Kombat.

And it was an introduction that to be honest I couldn't play alone, this game like all MK games are bloody to the extreme and I dare say it's pretty shady some of the things that happen along the plot, that's why I played it with my little brother (he was like 6 years old xD).

For some reason he didn't seem to be as affected as I was by all the cinematics in the game, because whenever we played on the Xbox he always asked me to play this one. It has a co-op campaign where we control two characters, Liu Kang and Kung Lao, although later you can also choose Sub-Zero or Scorpion.

The game is a pretty good beat'em up, I dare say that one of the most fun I've played, combos, movement, interactions with the stage are great, the difficulty can get hard already deep into the game and best of all is that we can do Fatalities where we want and against the opponents we want.

I remember we were looking for guides and codes for all the fatalities and there were a dozen of them, plus the addition of the Multalities and Brutalities which are some of the most incredible things I've seen in this game, highly recommend if you want to try Mortal Kombat from a different angle.

Last but not least, this is an adventure game with some simple puzzles along the way that have to solve two brothers working together, is a fairly simple game where if we get stuck we always have some guidance, I started playing with my brother because it was the game that gave free a month with a subscription to Games With Gold we had on the 360 at the time, they gave two games and this was the one that caught my attention and although it is not a game as entertaining as the previous two if that leaves you cold.

Brothers is a cooperative adventure that has its strength in the story and how it tells it, I remember that everything in the plot revolves around the relationship of the brothers and although not a single word is uttered throughout the adventure if we feel the emotions they feel, adversity changes their moods, the problem they have to solve makes them nervous and we feel it in the controls. It is a very emotional adventure especially when you play it with your own brother and see what these characters go through.

So that's the list, the truth is I'm not too keen on cooperative games, as I said I think most of these I play when there is a family or friend involved but I would like to know if you have any in your head that you can recommend, I've been thinking about buying It Takes Two but I don't have anyone to play it with at the moment, as always thanks for your recommendations.
