The future is scary, I tend to think a lot about it and everything that is coming our way, especially these days when you hear people talk about bitcoin or AI, I feel that we are moving much faster than in previous years and some even think that in just a decade we can be closer than ever to that future that we all imagine where there is an absurd amount of technology in everything we do.
I think that video games are fascinating to explore the many things that are coming, from new graphics technology to new therapies that have this medium as their main avenue, but there are also some experiments that seem to me to be on the one hand insane and on the other very, very interesting, and those are the ones that modify our body.
I'm talking about that thing
Everyone will have heard of Elon Musk and how he has so much money to spend that he spends his time creating companies, some of them very useful like Starlink or even SpaceX and others that seem nonsensical for today's world, and that is that Neuralink is a company that is based on losing money by the bucketload doing all kinds of experiments on the human body.
At the time I read it, it seemed like something out of science fiction, but as time goes by, it seems like it will be a reality in a couple of years.
Just imagine that you have surgery to put a device in your head, with which you can access the internet, play video games, read books or anything else you would do with a PC, only transmitted and powered by your head.
It's one of those things that you say are too good to be true, but as the days go by we see more and more people testing, one of the first news I saw was a monkey with the implanted chip playing Tetris, when I read the news I turned to my girlfriend with a face of "the future is here". A few months later it was already in a human.

I can't stop thinking about this fact today, I mean, everything we've been experiencing in the last 2 or 3 years seems like a huge leap into the unknown, there's a theory that says that every so often a new crucial innovation changes history, the last one was social media but today it seems like we're touching something much more important with our fingers. We have to wait and see what the future brings

El futuro asusta, tiendo a pensar mucho en el y en todo lo que se nos avecina sobretodo estos dias en donde escuchas hablar a las personas sobre bitcoin o sobre las AI, siento que estamos avanzando mucho mas rapido que en años anteriores y algunos hasta piensan que en solo una decada ya podemos estar mas cerca que nunca de ese futuro que todos nos imaginamos en donde hay uan cantidad absurda de tecnologia en todo lo que hacemos.
Solo los videojuegos creo que es fascinante explorar las muchas cosas que se avecinan, desde la tecnologia de nuevos graficos hasta las nuevas terapias que tiene a este medio como principal via, pero tambien estan algunos experimentos que me parecen por una parte insanos y por otra parte muy pero muy interesante, y esos son los que modifican nuestro cuerpo.
Estoy hablando de esa cosa

Solo imagina que te hacen una cirugia para meterte un dispositivo en la cabeza, con el podras acceder al internet, jugar videojuegos, leer libros o cualquier otra cosa que harias con un pc solo que transmitido y potenciado por tu cabeza.
Es una de esas cosas que dices que son demasiado buenas para ser verdad, pero con el paso de los dias vemos que sacan mas y mas personas testeando, una de las primeras noticias que vi fue la de un mono con el chip implantado jugando Tetris, cuando lei la noticia me voltee a mi novia con una cara de "el futuro esta aqui". Unos meses mas tarde ya estaba en un humano.

El futuro me asusta
¿Que significa esto para el videojuego? estamos viendo la herramienta definitiva para hacer mas accesible a todo tipo de titulos, solo pensar que en el mundo puede haber un millon de personas todas conectadas mediante chips en el cerebro me hace pensar que estamos en alguna pelicula cyberpunk.
Esto es telepatia basicamente, leia que el paciente que estaba jugando Counter lo hacia desde una silla a pocos metros de la pc, habia aprendido a controlar el implante en unos 5 minutos y ya volaba con el, utilizaba programas como Fusion para diseñar en 3D y tambien esta esa anecdota de que jugaba partidas online.
No puedo dejar de pensar en este hecho hoy, quiero decir, todo lo que estamos viviendo en los ultimos 2 o 3 años parece que es un salto enorme hacia lo desconocido, hay una teoria que dice que cada cierto tiempo una nueva innovacion crucial cambia la historia, la ultima que hubo fueron las redes sociales pero hoy parece que estamos tocando con los dedos algo mucho mas importante. toca esperar y ver que nos trae el futuro
