One of the most interesting video game shows of the year has to be the one Microsoft has strived to put on every year in the middle of the year when everyone's eyes are on the releases. With the absence of E3, I think it was more than evident that these events were going to meet the demand for video games they want to present to the audience.
It's mostly an event focused on Game Pass and what's coming to it later this year, but every now and then there are rumors that they're going to take the edition seriously and drop a bombshell right on stage.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
To no one's surprise, Activision isn't letting the biggest money-making saga in video games rest, and another campaign is coming with top-notch graphics, gunplay in the name of America, and perhaps a new tweak to multiplayer. There's a mode. Zombies confirmed, and that's the only reason I'm including this cash grab in my post.
There's always hope that they'll seriously focus on revamping the gameplay and at least giving it a story that doesn't feel like an action movie without substance. I feel like Call of Duty can do much more in both aspects, but with an annual release, I find it difficult.
Outer Worlds 2
One of the best video games I haven't played yet is getting a sequel. All I know is that it's about exploring space. and beautiful planets in a combination of RPG and space simulation that puts us in the shoes of another of the Earthly agents dedicated to searching for fractures in nearby colonies.
I'm excited. Although I haven't played the first installment in a while, I've seen some gameplay, and the first installment seemed like it would be a one-part game. They clearly have more ideas in mind, so they're welcome!
Ninja Gaiden 4
I love that this saga is getting so much love recently. They've released some remasters, and now they've finally announced, after 20 years, Ninja Gaiden 4, which promises to be even more difficult than the previous installments. We won't have to wait long to continue the dragon's story; we'll be able to play it in October.
Clockwork Revolution
I had never heard of this game until this show, and I must say it's left me wanting more. It looks like a new take on Bioshock, a first-person shooter that's going to prioritize narrative and have a very steampunk-inflected setting. I can almost smell Ken Levine behind this, but it seriously looks pretty good for an inexperienced studio.
Despite some leaks and insiders saying that the showcase was finally going to be the definitive announcement of a Silksong, here we are after the event and we still don't have a date. I made a post about it saying that there is already evidence that the game is playable and can be completed, but we are still waiting for signs of life from the developers to shed some light.
This is the long-awaited sequel to Hollow Knight, an acclaimed indie game that made me love Metroidvanias when I wasn't finding them very enjoyable. For the entire community, this is a release we will probably see in 2025, but the question remains.
And so there you have it, a few announcements in addition to the Games coming to Game Pass soon. Nothing relevant there, but I feel like video game conferences are useless at this point. They seem more like a publicity stunt than anything else. E3 has shown that anyone can fall, and studios should look for other ways to promote their new titles.

Uno de los shows de videojuegos mas interesantes del año tiene que ser el que Microsoft se ha esmerado en poner todos los años a mitad del año cuando los ojos estan en los estrenos, con la ausencia del E3 creo que era mas que evidente de que estos eventos iban a cubrir esa demanda de videojuegos que se quieren presentar a la audiencia.
Es mas que nada un evento mas enfocado en el Game Pass y en que es lo va a llegar ahi en lo que resta del año pero cada tanto se marcan algunos rumores de que en serio se van a tomar la edicion en serio y van a sacar alguna bomba en el medio del escenario
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
Para la sorpresa de nadie, Activision no deja descansar a la saga que mas genera dinero en el videojuego y se viene otra campaña con graficos de primera, tiroteos en nombre de America y quiza un nuevo retoque al multijugador, hay un modo zombies confirmado y esa es la unica razon por la cual pongo este cashgrab en mi post
Siempre queda la esperanza de que en serio se enfoquen en renovar el gameplay y darle al menos una historia que no se sienta una pelicula de accion sin sustancia, siento que Call Of Duty puede dar tanto mas en estos dos aspectos pero teniendo un lanzamiento anual lo veo dificil
Outer Worlds 2
Uno de los mejores videojuegos que todavia no he jugado va a tener una secuela, solo se que va a tratar de explorar el espacio y planetas hermosos en una combinacion de RPG y simulacion espacial que nos mete en la piel de otro de los agentes terrenales dedicado a buscar fracturas en las colonias cercanas
Me emociona, aunque no he jugado la primera parte desde hace tiempo me he visto algunos gameplays y la primera entrega me parecia que iba a ser un videojuego que se quedaria en una sola entrega, claramente tienen mas ideas en mente asi que son bienvenidos!
Ninja Gaiden 4
Me encanta que esta saga este recibiendo tanto cariño recientemente, han sacado algunas remasterizaciones y ahora anuncian al fin despues de 20 años Ninja Gaiden 4 que promete ser incluso mas dificil que las entregas anteriores, no habra que esperar mucho para seguir la historia dle dragon, en octubre ya podremos jugarlo

Nunca habia escuchado de este juego hasta este show y debo decir que me ha dejado queriendo mas, parece que estamos ante un nuevo intento de Bioshock, un shooter en primera persona que va a priorizar la narrativa y va a tener una ambientacion muy marcada por el steampunk, casi puedo oler a Ken Levine detras de esto pero en serio se ve bastante bueno para ser un estudio sin experiencia
Silksong?
A pesar de que habian algunas filtraciones y que insiders decian que la showcase iba a ser por fin el anuncio definitivo de un Silksong pues aqui estamos despues del evento y todavia no tenemos ninguna fecha, hice un post al respecto de que ya hay pruebas de que el juego es jugable y se puede completar, pero todavia estamos esperando señales de vida de los desarrolladores para que arrojen algo de luz
Este es la esperada secuela de Hollow Knight, aclamado indie y el juego que me ha hecho adorar los metroidvania cuando no les encontraba demasiado disfrute, para oda la comunidad este es un lanzamiento que probablemente veamos en 2025 pero aun sigue la duda
Y entonces ahi lo tienes, unos pocos anuncios ademas de los juegos que van a estar en el Game Pass proximamente, nada relevante ahi pero tengo el sentimiento de que las conferencias de videojuegos son inutiles en este punto, parecen mas un show de publicidad mas que otra cosa, el E3 ha demostrado que cualquiera puede caer y los estudios deberian buscar otras formas de promocionar sus nuevos titulos
