Greetings appreciated Hivers
On Saturday I was watching a very exciting event, which has everyone glued to what happens minute by minute where everything is falling into place, where there are the favorites, those who give surprises and those who play with faith, that's right I'm talking about The International mega event that is brought by the Dota2 game.
But what is this event? Well I'll put it this way The International is for those of us who play Dota2, what the World Cup is for soccer lovers, a video game that during all its previous, in the middle of the event and at the end always moves thousands of people who follow their professional players behind the screen to be aware of everything that happens.
Dota2 is a game where you can spend relaxed with friends, have fun and fuck without limits, even so it also has its professional side where you not only play for fun, but you can access sponsorships of brands of companies, entrepreneurs who bet and invest in you, you can access tournaments with other professionals and other things that already involves all their work and dedication.
So I have been watching with my friend Finix the games where GAIMIN GLADIATORS VS EVIL GENIUSES were playing, where both teams came with a huge pressure, since the one who lost would go home, as both had only one place to continue advancing in the leaderboard and the other would return home to try next year, as it is held every year.
I had never seen this competitive side, as I always played for fun so it was a great and unique experience, to see how the same heroes, the same skills used in so many different ways, in a more professional way, to see unique and unexpected moves that as a casual player you can't even imagine.
It was so cool to see how the players go into their anti-noise booths where they can talk without problems that the enemy team can hear their strategies and the audience, but the giant screens can show both teams in one stadium, and yet the final is going to be in an even bigger stadium.
You can see the pressure on their faces and also some are rookies in their teams, others are newcomers, others are already veterans which they show with their calm and try to encourage their teammates, as they are before the eyes of thousands of people, even the smallest mistake will be seen by everyone, and the narrators in several languages will not let it pass.
So we spent more than 3 hours watching the teams that were advancing and those that were behind, there was a team where there was a Peruvian from each team, so a Peruvian was going to eliminate a Peruvian, since there were few South American representatives and even fewer Spanish-speaking ones, although the Peruvians were eliminated from the final, the Brazilians are left competing against Europeans and Asians.
and Asians.
So it was one of the most kawaii days of my weekend and every day I learn even more about the game and, since it is always being renewed, it is always time to adapt to changes.
It was a pleasure to share this exciting event of a game that I love so much; see you soon.
