The way of roses

I began playing the PS5 version of A Plague Tale Innocence a few weeks ago. I feel so lucky to have received the game for free with July 2021's PS Plus offering. I knew when I started this game that it was going to be fun. It just keeps getting better and better. The story is so engaging and the gameplay keeps introducing new options. I truly have been enjoying the hell out of this game.

I picked a fantastic time to start recording my gameplay again. The last time I showed off this game was during Chapter 1. In this video, I play through the entirety of Chapter 10. There are a total of 16 Chapters, so I am getting near the end. Chapter 10 was one of the best ones yet and Amicia de Rune did not get through this one alive easily.

During Chapter 10, I met the Grand Inquisitor Vitalis Bénévent. He is an absolutely vile man, one who is set on having control and extending his own. I was also introduced to a new friend named Rodric, who I saved from the Grand Inquisitor's domain. Rodric is the son of a blacksmith and is great for brute force. He helps open up doors with his shoulder, but he does have a bit of an anger problem. I think he's quite hilarious and thank him for helping me eliminate the bigger guards.

The rats have also become quite the problem for me and the rest of the world. It has become a challenge to use light to keep them from eating me and my friends alive. The combination of stealth and often challenging puzzles are so enjoyable. This game isn't super long, but it is certainly still an amazing game that is worth playing.

I struggled to survive at some parts and you will get to hear me rage and freak out over unexpected deaths. Eventually, I did end up escaping with The book called Sanguinis Itinera or "Voyages of the Blood". It is an aged book that contains a recipe for an elixir to slow down Hugo's Prima Macula disease.
