My god this game is gorgeous ✨

You may have already seen me mention Godfall in my previous post about December 2021's free PlayStation Plus titles. This game is a looter slasher melee action RPG with coop. It is finally time that I take advantage of the fact that this game now sits comfortably in my massive library. I had been curious about this game ever since I saw it as one of the PS5-exclusive launch titles. Since then, it has come to both PS4 and PC. I wasn't hyped about Godfall to the point that I even came close to purchasing it, but something about was alluring to me.

Let me warn you, this game shines in the graphics department. The bright colors, mesmerizing environment, badass armor sets, and the glistening reflections on nearly everything. It's like you are walking inside of a holographic Pokémon card. I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best-looking games that I have played in a while. Graphics are far from everything though, so this doesn't mean this is the best game to ever exist. The look of it reminds me of the most recent God of War game. Things in the world just feel valuable.

In this video, we will be playing through the first 40 or so minutes of Godfall. This is about all of the story action that you get with the Challenger Edition. After finishing the long and robust training, you are leveled up to max at 50 and pushed forth towards the endgame content. You have to pay $15 to unlock the story-related single-player content.

I took my time with this game and am really going to give it a chance. I feel like the most enjoyable parts of what Godfall has to offer lie past the tutorial.
