Going to tell people that these bosses are the godskin duo.

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, is a hack and slash videogame that follows the story of the titular hero, Samurai Jack, and specifically, bits and pieces from the Season 5.
Samurai Jack, a cartoon from my childhood days, man this is very nostalgic. according to my google searching skills, the cartoon started in 2001 and had 4 seasons in total up to 2003, And then it got its season 5 in 2017, ending this epic story with a bittersweet ending.
And in 2020, this game, Samurai Jack : Battle Through Time got released.
And all I can say is,
This is unexpected.

where Samurai Jack together with Ashi confronts Aku for the last time.

During the fight, Ashi learns that she has the same powers as Aku for she is his daughter.

Using her powers, Ashi and Samurai Jack travels back in time.

As a final act of defiance, Aku fired an energy beam which Samurai Jack blocked to protect Ashi, Only for him to be blown away from the impact which in turn got them seperated.
And that sets up the events of this game, Where our hero, Samurai Jack is once again trapped by Aku in a corrupted timespace under his control.
[Yes the last three images are screencaptured from my youtube channel.]

Samurai Jack will beat up enemies.

Collect flaming orbs. A WHOLE LOT! it's a grind fest.

Engage in 2D perspective seamlessly which definitely reminds me of Nier Automata.

Enjoying the landscape while fighting alligator robots.

You get to meet up Samurai Jack's old friends.

Fight with them as well.

But in the end we believe in the power of friendship.

And as each chapter is resolved, Samurai Jack is wisked away to the next chapter.

You get to unlock 'skills' some of which includes double jump!, and there are even three categories.
the grind is an absolute hell.

You also have access to consumables ranging from health restoration to damage buffs and even resurrections.

Other melee weapons with durability.~

And ranged weapons, which also have durability.~

Also there's this.

And another one, You need collect 50 of them to unlock an alternate ending.
When I rate things, I always use a three-point system.
1 for Bad
2 for Okay
3 for Great
I must point out that I have very low standards and is easily impressed.
so it's very hard for me to give a score of 1,
and very easy for me to give a score of 3.
