Hi there. A new Pokemon mobile game has appeared. I found out about from the Pokemon Presents Youtube video from last week. I try out Pokemon Friends on my Android smartphone.

In this game, your goal is to make Pokemon plush toys. To make plushes you do need to untangle yarn so you have plush materials. Yarn comes in different colours which yields different Pokemon types in the plushes. To obtain yarn you need to solve puzzles with the games Untangle button.
Different Games + Screenshots
There are different puzzle games which has a featured Pokemon. I present them in screenshots form.
Pikachu's Power Line
Pikachu has to have a puzzle as it is a mascot Pokemon. Create a path for Pikachu where every lightbulb lights up. No repeats when you trace the path with your finger on your touchscreen.
Mr Mime Game
The Mr.Mime game tests your geometry and visual skills. Choose the correct option.
Piplup Sliding Game
This one requires you to tilt your phone in the direction you want Piplup to go. Tilt left for a full left until Piplup hits an ice wall, tilt right for a right turn and so on. This puzzle is very similar to the Ice Cave puzzle area from Pokemon Gold & Silver outside of Mahogany Town.
Think Outside The Box
Think Outside The Box wants you to free up the Pokemon in the box through rotation mechanics. Choose the left button for a counterclockwise rotation or the right button for a clockwise roatation.
You may need to clear out the blocks before clearing out the Pokemon. The Pokemon is Slowpoke or Rowlet. (Not sure if there is a third Pokemon.)
Scorbunny Pathfinder Game
Direct Scorbunny to the flag. The trampoline allows for hopping over walls.
Sableye Train Tracks
With this puzzle, you rotate yellow tracks in a way that Sableye can go from start to the finish flag. When you complete the puzzle, Sableye automatically goes from start to finish.
Cincinno Clean Up Game
There are a few more games not shown. One notable one I played involved a Greninja slicing up objects in different ways. You then have to choose the correct side that is shown after the cut.
Making Plushies
When you finish the puzzles, you earn yarn. More yarn is earned if you finish the puzzles and when you do it fast.
Shop Store Area
I took screenshots of the shop store area in this game. This game is free to play with the option to purchase more puzzles. I assume the prices in USD. These puzzle packs seem expensive.
At the time of writing I have played this game for 7 days. The puzzles do gradually get tougher over the days. I don't see the need to purchase more puzzles.
Closing Notes
This game looks nice and colourful on the phone, the puzzles start off easy and get tougher over time. It is kind of tough to get perfect and complete the puzzles fast. I do like that you get more yarn when you finish the puzzles and finish it fast.
I don't understand the end goal in this game. Do you collect all the plushies to win? Is it make them all instead of gotta catch them all?
You are limited to the daily puzzles when it comes to untangle. I think this is to limit gaming addiction for the young gamers (ages 8 to 14).For more puzzles during the day you have to pay for the puzzle packs.
Although this game is more for a young crowd, I do some older casual players would find the daily puzzles engaging enough to use this app daily. The puzzles does get your brain going and you have to think fast. This is good for young kids and it combines gaming and problem solving. A popular thing in kids education in combining gamified education.
