New Tsareena Evolution Line
![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
Here is the new Tsareena evolution line. The Steenee is actually kind of good. One Grass Energy for 40 damage is decent on a Stage 1 Pokemon.
The new Tsareena is okay. For one Grass Energy it does 50 damage plus it moves a random card from the opponent's hand into their deck. It does lack firepower though.
Primarina ex Evolution Line
![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
Here is Primarina ex and the pre-evolutions. Popplio and Brionne are not great attackers but you need them to work up to Primarina ex.
Primarina ex has 180 HP, 2 retreat cost and Lightning weakness. Hydro Pump requires 1 Water Energy to deal 40 damage. If this Pokemon has at least 1 extra Water Energy attached then Hydro Pump does 80 damage instead.
Sparkling Aria for 3 Water Energy does 100 damage plus heal 20 damage from Primarina ex.
This evolution line looks okay overall. It does not look awful nor does it look amazing.
Mimikyu

Here is a new Mimikyu card. The Try to Imitate requires 2 Psychic energy for its attack. If you get lucky then you can choose 1 of your opponent's Active Pokemon attacks and copy it.
This Mimikyu is a poor man's version of Mew ex.

Dragonite ex Evolution Line
![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
I am not sure of what to think of this Evolution line. Dratini is okay, Dragonair is okay too, but Dragonite ex can be hit or miss.
You do have to play 2 different Energy types in a Dragonite ex deck. As the Energys are random, you can theoretically not get the second energy type in time for your attack.
Dragonite ex's Giga Impact does deal good damage at 180 damage. Drawbacks for this attack include the Energy types and that Dragonite ex cannot attack during your next turn.
Snorlax ex

Snorlax ex is another wall option for those who love wall style decks. This large Basic Pokemon has 160 HP, 4 retreat cost and Fighting weakness.
The Full-Mouth Manner ability only works when Snorlax ex is in the Active Spot. At the end of your turn, heal 20 damage from Snorlax ex.
For 4 Colourless Energy, the Flip-Down Punch deals 130 damage and then Snorlax ex goes to sleep.
I can see some players trying out this giant Pokemon in their decks. Put Snorlax in front as a wall and possibly set up Greninja at the back for passive damage.

Sweets Relay Attackers
Card gimmicks were a thing in the physical Pokemon TCG. They have introduced one in Pocket. It is an interesting mechanic worth exploring. The gimmick is based on an attack called Sweets Relay with a potentially powerful Alcremie attacker.
Applin & Appletun
![]() | ![]() |
Applin and Appletun are the Grass attackers with the Sweets Relay attack. Applin is weak at 40 HP while Appletun has 40 Base damage with a possible +30 damage if one of your Pokemon used Sweets Relay last turn.
Vanillite & Vanillish
![]() | ![]() |
Vanillite & Vanillish are the Water attackers with the Sweets Relay attack. There is Vanilluxe as the Stage 2 evolution but that does not have the Sweets Relay attack.

Swirlix & Slurpuff
![]() | ![]() |
Although Swirlix and Slurpuff are Psychic attackers, their energy type for the Sweets Relay attack requires Colourless Energy or any Energy type. The Slurpuff is a somewhat bulky and dangerous attacker. Slurpuff has 120 HP, 3 retreat cost and can do 90 damage from its Sweets Relay attack.
Milcery & Alcremie
![]() | ![]() |
Milcery is a fragile attacker at 50 HP but the Alcremie can be super dangerous. The Sweets Overload attack on Alcremie requires 1 of any energy for the attack cost. Sweets Overload does 40 damage for each time your Pokemon used Sweets Relay during this game. There is no damage limit for this Alcremie.
In theory, Alcremie can have one hit knockout power in the late game. Due to the existence of this Alcremie, a Sweets Relay theme deck is something worth exploring. It could be a top tier deck archetype.
Leftovers

Leftovers is a healing Pokemon Tool card. It only works on the Pokemon in the Active Spot. At the end of your turn, you heal 10 damage from that Active Spot Pokemon with this Leftovers card.
Hau

Hau is a niche Supporter card that goes well with Decidueye ex, Incineroar ex or Primarina ex. During the turn you play this, add 30 damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon for Decidueye ex, Incineroar ex or Primarina ex.
Plus 30 damage is a lot. The downside to this card is that you need the aforementioned Stage 2 Pokemon in play.
Eevee Cards
In this section I show the Eevee cards shown earlier from a previous post as well as the new ones.

Sylveon
The 90 HP Sylveon is an interesting attacker. Evoharmony has 40 base damage and it does 30 more damage for each Evolution Pokemon on your Bench. If your Bench has all 3 Pokemon being Evolution Pokemon then Evoharmony does 130 damage (40 + 30 x 3 = 40 + 90). Getting 3 Evolutions on Bench is kind of unlikely. It is more common to have 1 or 2 Evolution Pokemon on the Bench. This would result in either 70 or 100 damage for 1 Psychic Energy and 1 Colourless Energy.
Illustration Rare Eevee Cards
Here are the 9 illustration rare Eevee cards. These are very well done and beautiful. My favourites are Flareon, Espeon, Glaceon and Sylveon. Which one do you like here?

Pokemon ex Full Art Cards
The Pokemon ex cards also have alternate versions that are more colourful.

To finish off the full art rares, we have Snorlax ex blocking the road and the very colourful Eevee ex art. Very well done. If they were printed physically the can be sold out in minutes.

Shiny Cards
For whatever reason, the shiny cards feature Pokemon from previous sets.

There are also shiny versions of Pokemon ex. You have the legendary birds and Gallade.

Crown Rare - Eevee Bag

The Crown Rare in this set is the Item card Eevee Bag. This has a gold background with the Eevee Bag feature.
Closing Notes
This mini-set may be small but it has a lot to offer for both players and collectors. New deck archetypes are introduced and past archetypes like Incineroar ex get a boost.
Collectors will have their hands full with the Eevee cards and shiny cards.
